This place has set a standard for my expectations of Venezuelan food I try different Venezuelan or places who try to make Venezuelan fusion places and I still reminisce of this place instead!
A must try! they are fast and have indoor seating. The arepas here are so good but my favorite item by far are the Mondocas. I highly recommend. There is parking in the back on W main off of Shepard
Some time ago, I visited Gusto Gourmet with my family while we were on vacation in Houston, Texas, and it was a very pleasant experience. This Venezuelan food spot really impressed us—we tried the cassava fritters (buñuelos de yuca) with papelón syrup, which were extraordinary, as well as the golfeado with cheese, which we absolutely loved.
