This is not the first time I have gotten sick from gyro republic.Probably the 5th time, & decided to take the time to write this review. The rice that was given was old, didn't think much of it at the time but after they used it for my bowl they threw the rest out. All night I've had an upset stomach. Imagine fasting and then eating old food and getting sick. Took away time from praying at night and being able to go to work the next day. Food is great, but it is not fresh, I would recommend making sure it is fresh before you get it and have to be sick right after.

Gyro Republic is always a great place near HCU campus to come and eat. The food is always good and the service is also great. Friendly faces like Mohammed and James are great workers and will take care of your needs.

The last time I went at night the meat was extremely salty I could not eat had to throw it. I think depending who cooks the meat is the taste. In the morning the meat is good I don't recommend night the staff is not friendly and meats are salty. Staff overall though is not friendly they always look mad like hate their jobs. Smile welcome people in will help.

Love their rice and meat combo bowl with creamy white sauce. Very attentive and flexible in preparing my order the way I want it. Saw lots of people who ordered ahead online going in and out even after the traditional lunch hour.

I came in an ordered 2 chicken pita sandwiches about 7pm tonite.....they were horrible. Condiment looked old and were all over the counter. Salty sandwiches were not edible.....wish I had gotten a receipt. And the guy taking my order put on gloves and wiped his face.....NEVER AGAIN.
