I love HEB and I am always impressed by the friendly helpful staff and excellent food I use kurbside when we have a larger shop and it is a great service but I do have one criticism the number of plastic bags used is excessive. Often a single item is placed in a bag. On a recent order I counted 28 bags for a relatively small order. Not only does it make loading and unloading the car time consuming it is a waste of resources and has a significant environmental impact. There must be a better way to do this. Please consider alternatives

The dairy guy in a Santa hat was so helpful! He went above and beyond to assist me with my Christmas shopping. I was new to this H‑E‑B and I was so lost to where things were and he guided me. He is so kind and helpful. I wish I could write 1000 reviews to commend his assistance. He is such a wonderful employee and person. Overall 10/10.

A great place to shop for everyday and indulgent groceries. The selection and food hall is simply huge and you will find most of the items you need for that special recipe. Or just a regular burger (4 types of hash...). The selection of fresh meat, fish, bread and vegetables is amazing for an upmarket market. They have your produce and of course you have to pay for it. Parking is plentiful - curbside and delivery available.

Corporate needs to take a look at management at this location. I was with my wife and she simply asked an employee where she could find a particular item. He was extremely passive aggressive saying I don’t know I don’t use that product giving her a look like it was a foolish question when all she did was ask a store employee where she could find a product in the store. I really didn’t want to get into it with such a hostile employee so I then asked him if he could just find someone who could help us as we really need to find this product. After a couple minutes he comes with the manager and I’m not sure what story he told the manager but I told him we just need help finding a product. I didn’t even mention anything about the passive aggressive employee at all and he was immediately derogatory saying do I ask every employee for help at every opportunity and is being an adult hard? Now I understand why that employee acted the way he did after seeing who was put in charge here. Though it shouldn’t matter whether I am a significant partner with HEB or not, I might as well mention this. My company which spent over a quarter of a million with HEB this year alone will be switching accounts after this joke of an experience.
Love this location. It’s always clean and the samples were good as usual. It was busy but the lines were moving fast.
