I had the Chicken with Broccoli meal for about $10, got an order of steamed dumplings for about $6, overall pretty worth it. Very generous amount of rice came with it, and I found myself both enjoying it and having enough for left overs!
Honestly I've been here 4 times and never liked it. I get dragged here everytime because other forget how bad the food is.. if the owner reads this I hope you seriously consider making your food better. Everything tastes the same with just different meats. I ordered a chicken dish and I could tell the chicken was precooked and maybe prepared days in advance. The chicken pieces had ends that were dry and chewy. I know it wasn't made in the last day or two because I've worked in the food industry. As for the fried rice, there was one little piece of egg in the whole bowl and the veggies are the cheap frozen carrots & peas. At least use quality ingredients if you're charging people money. Charge a little extra but make it good. Even real Chinese places use better food and they're realllyyyy cheap!.
Worst food and restaurant service in the neighborhood. All the dishes ordered were below average taste and were definitely not appetizing . It is suppose to be a cuisine where you should be served by the server but I did self service for everything except getting the food from the kitchen. This was the first and last time for me to eat at this place. I definitely do not recommend this place.
Like most other reviewers, I agree the food is not authentic Chinese food. However there is a hint of chinese taste and the food tastes really Good! If you're in the mood for Chinese only then this is not the place. However if you're in the mood for good priced and great tasting food then this is your spot
Truly speaking. Very mediocre food kung pao or noodles. Only redeeming factor is it's halal but taste needs to improve way more..
Horrible service! I wouldn’t recommend this place for Chinese food. The guy on the cash register was very unprofessional. The food there was ok, but I honestly think they dropped their quality. I believe the food was very cheaply made and wasn’t Chinese food. For something like that the price was way too high.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! I don't like leaving reviews nor do I usually have time but this time I couldn't help it...everything is overcooked, the rice is mushy, if you have a baby he/she'll enjoy it. Honestly this is by far the worse Chinese food I've ever had...will never put foot there again!
The food was not very good. That was the saddest general Tso chicken that I've ever eaten. The egg drop soup tasted like diluted bouillon cube. The environment was also unpleasant.
Labeled Chinese but not authentic at all. Easy to spot that it’s Chinese flavored at best but lacks real favor. Overly sauced gives no indication of wok cooking. It being halal serves a need for the Muslim community. Service is quick. Restaurant is clean. Self serve to an extent. Place your order at the counter. Pay there also.
Food wasn’t authentic , just a regular Chinese hot meal . We tried their noodles , beef Mongolian and general Tsos, decent quantity for the price . HAd to buy bottled water .

Hospitable place..will go again.
The food was terrible. Had a hair in my chicken and a cockroach in my beef. They still charged us for the food. The place looked dirty and they really didn’t care for their customers
On my way back from vacation, swing by in Houston, had a lunch with my family, Halal Chinese food was pretty delicious, price a little bit high because all halal meats are expensive We must understand that. Eat Halal and keep halal across the country?.
Good restaurant with decent options to dine in, can improve quality
Stopped by after a long time. Food was pretty bad, nothing like the old owner used to make. This place recently changed ownership, and the new folks ruined the food. None of their dishes taste like they used to. I ordered some dumplings and a philly cheese steak sandwich. The dumplings were just awful. The dough was rubbery and the chicken inside tasted funky. The steak sandwich had a burnt taste and they use some cheaper bread now too. Overall, I miss eating here, but the new people have just ruined the quality of their food. I write this review genuinely to help others, not just to criticize. My hope is someone at the restaurant will read this and take notice of my experience.
