Hamsa is one of our favorite spots and the service is always good. Brian did an excellent job, and the food was delicious. Two issues prevented me from giving 5 stars this time. Strangely it took more than 45 minutes to get our appetizer and the restaurant wasn't full. Second, the music is usually really well chosen that enhances the meal, but yesterday it was too loud and full of bass, so the whole meal was kind of overshadowed by the thumping. Not deal breakers, but something to consider!

Hamsa never misses. Every time I come here, the food and service are consistently excellent, and this visit was no exception. Rachel was our server and she was incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely kind throughout the entire meal. She made us feel taken care of without ever being intrusive. Jordan, the captain, also came by our table and added to the overall sense of hospitality, which made the experience feel even more special. Mo, another server, gave us incredible recommendations and pairings for today. We started with the hummus with a side of lamb and the falafel bites. The hummus was amazing, easily some of the best I've had, and the falafel had an incredible crunchy consistency on the outside while staying perfectly soft inside. For our mains, we ordered the branzino, a green salad, and the spiced fries. Everything was so flavorful and beautifully prepared. Truly amazing food from start to finish. For dessert, we had the petite beurre paired with a dessert wine. It was perfect, not overly sweet, just balanced and elegant. A great way to end the meal. Hamsa continues to be one of those places you can always count on.

Love taking people to Hamsa - from clients at lunch to friends for happy hour, its a sure thing for quality, fun, and good vibes. One thing to note is the wait staff is super friendly but every time I have been (only 4 times) I always had to wait a long time between the server checking on our table. Especially at lunch, when you're with a client and both need to return to work, the wait time for the server to return can be lengthy.
