Had a great evening at Hando! I loved that most everything was hand rolls so we had the opportunity to try a lot of the menu! All hand rolls were great and we had a hard time picking our favorite. Cocktails were delicious! Definitely recommend for a date night or a fun night out!

Dietary restrictions: I have a soy and gluten allergy and it was so easy to get items customized . The staff was very knowledgeable about how to fi! an item for me!m or what I should avoid.!

Top tier hand rolls, good vibes and staff are helpful. Good spot to chat with a single friend, catch up, and drink like a fish. I do get mildly annoyed when people bring their loud ass kids here, but eh not my problem. Drinks are top notch and all the hand rolls are good. Happy hour is a nice time to come by for cheaper apps and cocktails :)

Also there is a speak easy in the back near the bathrooms, be careful to not accidentally use that as the toilet (I've seen ppl opening the door staring at the bar and yell "this isn't the bathroom" yeah Einstein, there's not a sign on the outside that said that either -_-

I had so much fun here!!
The food was great and the service was even better.
Everyone was so nice and explained everything to me since it was my first time.
FYI: they won’t seat you unless your whole party is there, BUT! There’s an amazing speakeasy you can wait and grab a drink in.
So fun!!! Plus the bartender was supppppperrrr fun and nice!!
She’d be the reason why I’d go back :)

Cool and casual sushi atmosphere. You eat at the counter and the staff is very laid back. This place is riding the new “sushi hand roll” trend, but they also have traditional sushi, sashimi, etc.. They have a large selection of unique drinks and a full bar. As a side note, they have a speak easy in the back of the restaurant that has a limited menu and stays open late. We were please to find out that they also have some great items to go. This place may become one of our “go to” take out sushi spots. My last picture is of our take out order.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was pretty good. The wagyu gyoza and salmon roll were my favorite. Two out of the three cocktails were good. Husband ordered the same cocktail twice. He said that the first one was perfect but the second, made by another server, was disappointing.

Pretty place. There is only a sushi bar, no dining tables, so you must sit around the bar in barstools. Pretty place. Service was great but they hovered over us a bit too much and were coming at us from across the bar and walking up behind us. They kept pestering us from behind when we were trying to viait. Small menu. Food was a bit boring with limited ingredients. Hand rolls were small with only a couple ingredients. Happy hour cocktail was good but only about 5 sips...not worth the price. I think they need to add more tempura items to the menu in general and more ingredients to the hand rolls. Maybe add a tofu dish like Agedashi Tofu. Portions were small. It was nice to try but I wouldn't return.

Loooooove this place! We have been twice within a few weeks and plan on making it a third soon! Discovered this place during restaurant week and it’s my new favorite. Super close to the house and great staff with personalities, great food, and amazing music. The atmosphere is always fun and clean and there is a speakeasy bar in the back!

food quality is roughlt okay and, for tasting, i didnt feel anything spike me.
handroll is easy to spare... By the price of the food, I will give it 2 stars.

I saw people are saying in the review that the service is good, but I felt is normal, and cannot hear the waitresses clear (voice is small). At the end, we are still having a cake, but our plates and chopsticks are taking away.

Atmos is good but I think it is because no body there, and the AC is too cold.

It was super expensive, with tiny portions. They forgot half my meal but tried to charge me for it. Food was a let down for the price point

Love that this place is located here in Spring Branch. 5 stars for doing what they are supposed to do; excellent customer service, great ambience. Took my nine-year-old there for lunch. She enjoyed it as much as I did.
