The waffle looks so rubbery I tore it to try to eat it and it just look like rubber. Never again

The MEGA SANDO was buss'n! Just the right amount of heat and the coleslaw cooled the palate nicely. The owner is a pretty cool cat, checking on us to make sure we're straight. The spicy soy garlic is not for the weak! đWould have enjoyed having a TV to watch the game while we ate, but overall ....9.8 out of 10

Food tastes fresh and seasoned even with no sauce. The sauce just adds the extra boot of heat if you like spicy. Every thing came out hot.

This was my first time at Hangry Joeâs and it definitely wonât be my last! Ray was such a great helper and gave us amazing customer service from start to finish. He made sure we felt welcome and taken care of, and my kids really enjoyed the fun vibe of the place. The food was super goodâfresh, flavorful, and exactly what we were craving. Overall, it was such a nice spot to grab a bite to eat. Highly recommend checking it out if you havenât already!

I visited this hot chicken spot based on the reviews and unfortunately, the experience was below average compared to their competitors (Micoâs, Daveâs, Urban Bird, etc). While the service was friendly and Serg the new owner was great! The food didnât measure up. In a city like Houston, where hot chicken is everywhere, you have to stand out. The chicken lacked flavor and clearly wasnât marinated. My to-go order had soggy bread (bottom piece), and the house sauce was far too thin. I ordered waffle fries but got fries that resembled McDonaldâs since they were out. The food came out fast, but quality was lacking. I support small businesses, but in this competitive market, this spot needs major improvements to survive.

I donât know what I want to highlight first, the service or the food!!
To start with the service, I ordered my food over the phone and actually enjoyed the conversation that I had with the person taking my order (Serg the Owner). He was very friendly, personable, and attentive. I called just to ask a question and planned on dining in, but he went ahead and took my order and made sure that it was hot and ready for me by the time I got to the restaurant. You can tell that he genuinely cares about making sure that his customers have a pleasant dining experience (Plus, he has a great man bun)
As for the food, the chicken is absolutely stellar. The tenders are flavorful, juicy, and tasted so freaking fresh. I got the mild and I will say that they had a little bit of heat to them, but it was worth the burn because the seasoning on them was perfect. The fries were just as hot, flavorful, and crispy and paired with the Hangry sauce, It was a better combo than Tom Brady and the Super Bowl.
Overall a fantastic dining experience and Sergâ thank you for blessing me with your man-bun and meaty goodness

Okay listen up babesâHangry Joeâs?? ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I got the mild tenders (because Iâm not trying to cry in public) and they were chefâs kiss perfection. Like?? Fresh, juicy, seasoned so well, I was literally whispering sweet nothings to them between bites đđ
And donât even get me started on the waffle fries⌠crisped to golden, crunchy heaven. Each fry was like a tiny potato angel blessing my taste buds. I was emotionally attached to them by the end of the meal.
NOW THE HANGRY SAUCE?! You already know I was about to bottle that up and take it home with me. I need it on everythingâsandwiches, fries, life. Put it in a serum and Iâd wear it as perfume. Thatâs how good it was.
Next time Iâm going to make sure I try the loaded Mac & loaded fries bc OMG they look so freakinâ tasty!!!!!!!!
