reason I’m giving a one start is because I dropped my shaved ice on the table after they had just gave it to me by accident. order another one was told it was free that they will give me another one waited 30 min never gave me the replacement shaved ice so I left sucks honestly that I didn’t get to try it.

Nasty. Extremely.

Really neat place with lots of seating and parking spaces. They will even make your dog a plain snow cone, if you ask. I got the Aloha and wow, so good!

Update: This place has the absolute nicest people working there!

Service has gotten so bad here! Every time l make a request for no condensed milk it always comes on it, it’s like they have them pre-made now. It also super watery by the time I get to the window. Expectation VS reality:

First time here. My family and I came on Sunday afternoon. It was not packed and convenient parking. There was a lot of options to choose from. I ordered the strawberry delight and it was delicious.

Good flavors! I got the Alolha something and my little cousin got the Happy Rainbow. My biggest issue and biggest reason for not returning frequently is the packaging - the cup pictured was overflowing upon pick up and dripped over my entire pants, the floor and table.

My suggestion to the owners: offer real Hawaiian Ice. What you’re serving now is more like a crunchy snow cone, and the problem with that texture is the syrup doesn’t soak in and stick like it would with finely shaved ice. Maybe the machine you purchased isn’t the right one to get that authentic, smooth shave.

I’d recommend going back to the drawing board on the syrups, too. If you’re buying them, consider switching vendors. If you’re making them in-house, try tweaking the recipes, or maybe just get a supplier.

This, for me, is a hard pass. Wasn’t ‘happy go lucky’ to receive a weak flavored snow cone expecting a decent Hawaiian Style Ice.

Went around 9 pm and the place was still packed. Loved the vibe of the place.

The way the line goes into the seating area is a little awkward.

Aside from that the place was clean and the treats were really good.

Ordered a large snocone and this is what they gave me. I should’ve opened and checked it before I left the drive through. Asked for a printed receipt, but the girl who took my ordered looked confused on how to do that.

I seen this place being built for too long so I was super excited to try it. I finally was able to go today and I was highly disappointed.

It’s a flat out NO for me. I thought it was Hawaiian ice but it’s just a regular snow cold.
I added coconut ice cream as my base, I could barely taste the coconut. The worst part was the $7.50 charge for a small.
The Little Mexican spot that’s been around the Northside of Houston for years called Flamingo Chill which is probably a 10 minute drive is way from Happy Go Lucky is way better, has a small selection of food and fruit and a whole lot cheaper. I have taken all of my out of town friends there and they love it.

The Hawaiian shaved ice was great! The atmosphere is fun. However, I didn’t like the cups that the hawaiian ice comes in because it’s not suitable for young children.
