Happy Lamb Hot Pot

Loved the food! Our group of 4 got the Best of Both Worlds - half mild, half spicy. The meat was delicious, and they had a good buffet for seafood and veggies. The veggies were my favorite! Price was $26 pef adult for all-you-can-eat regular meat or $33 per adult for all-you-can-eat premium meat. We felt it was a good price for a great meal! The hot pot was messy, but fun to eat!

Came here with a friend on a weekend night, and got the split pot of bone marrow and spicy. Good selection of all the usual veggies, seafood, tofu, and fish/meatballs. Even had a small corner of egg rolls and fried chicken which always seemed fresh. For what you pay it's good value.

But why three stars then? While the initial service was good, after we finished our first round of meat and ordered the second, it never came. We waited at least 20 to 30 minutes or more. Our server regularly attended to every other table except ours; almost as if we were being ignored on purpose.

In hindsight we should've spoken up, but we were mostly full by that point. Not worth it to make a fuss about it, so we paid and left. I was disappointed since seeing all the good reviews, and I hope my experience is the exception to the rule.

I came here yesterday afternoon and now I have spent the entire night throwing up every single hour due to food poisoning. I ate nothing else besides hotpot yesterday so I am quite positive I acquired it from here. Be careful if you come to this location, I’m in the worst pain I’ve ever had.

Happy Lamp Hot Pot is a great choice for my family's hotpot cravings. The restaurant has a spacious and cozy atmosphere, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming, ready to assist whenever we need more food. The menu is diverse, featuring a variety of meats, meatballs, seafood (although the crab meat was not very meaty), fresh vegetables, and delicious, flavorful broths. The fried chicken here is also very crispy and fragrant.

If youve been to Shabu Zone, then you’ll love this place. This place is smaller but the options they have with endless buffet are amazing. They offer shrimp fried rice, chicken wings and much more. Self serve fountain drinks and white rice bowls. Highly highly recommend if you don’t want to drive all the way to bellaire for all-you-can eat hot pot. Unlike Shabu zone, they are open all day. They also provide lunch pricing before 3pm.

Nice staff, clean restaurant and good vibes. The broth is yummy and they have a decent selection of meat and seafood options; not many desert options, but they do have free fountain drinks so can’t complain. I’d also recommend their hot sake.
