Lousy date night for my wife and me. Super loud, too crowded. Vibe was all wrong the moment we walked in; I regret staying. The food and service were pretty good, but being packed in to the adjacent tables (including an underdressed creep who wouldn't stop eyeing my wife), and unable to hear each other ruined the evening.

My wife and absolutely love this restaurant. Anytime we are near downtown we eat here. Last night was our 22 anniversary and drove in to eat. The deviled eggs and Wagu meatballs are always a favorite. The waiter was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Great suggestions on wine and food. I think his name was Danny.

had to go find our waiter. they had him working us and a table of 18. no men's restroom lady at the front check in didn't really seem to care. didn't see any manager types. not a good place to go

We work late and you're saying is one of the only dining experiences available after 10 o'clock. Most evenings, we are treated very well, even though we are often the last customers of the night.  Every so often, we can feel the rush from the staff, but this is a rare occurrence. We continue to faithfully girl almost on a weekly basis. Yes, the food is that good! And when the barkeep knows what they're doing, the blueberry lemon drops are an Unforgettable experience.

We have eaten here many times and had great service and great food but this time the food was very poor quality. Ahi tuna nachos were fishy, hamburger was overcooked, fish had some no flavor and an unknown sauce under the green beans, the chicken sandwich was edible.

Very disappointing. This place had good reviews. Service was very slow, salad was warm, meatballs were super soggy and mushy, all sodas come from cans that have no carbonation and the waiter said “yeah everyone complains about the drinks and we're aware of it”. If you're aware of it then why isn't it fixed?!? Just overall very disappointing food when there are so many other options. Look to this place as a last resort if other places are full. There is a reason why it was empty for dinner on the weekend.

Our waiter was patient and attentive. Saturday brunch double date with a 10month old and everything went so smooth from order taking to clean up. Pancakes were the best I've had in a long time and the drinks were poured perfectly. After eating we stayed a little while to chat and enjoy more drinks and the music... A LOT of Sam Smith played on the speakers which isn't a con, however the herbs on fries for our kid's meal was lol that caught us all by surprise. Would certainly dine here again though. 5 stars!

Granted it was Sunday and 530pm so almost empty. As we had been several times, but not recently this didn't phase us a bit. Left after enjoying a light meal and wondered why we don't go to Hearsay more often!
Decor and ambiance were delightful, server amazing, food was fantastic and a great value. Lovely park across from restaurant for a relaxing post meal stroll and only a 5 minute walk to the theatre area. Absolutely will be going here again as we love to attend concerts in the theatre district.

Fantastic experience at Hearsay Gastro Lounge. I was visiting Houston for a conference and met some old friends in Houston for dinner to catch up. This was the perfect spot for it. Amazing food, great drinks, service was excellent, and the environment was just right. Thanks for an amazing time. I will definitely be back!
