Found this place by chance. I had a craving for some soul food. This was the closest location to me. I read a few reviews and said let's go. I'll make my own review. The food here is definitely made and served with LOVE! The reviews told me I had to get the oxtails and they did not disappoint! My sides were black eyed peas and cabbage. Both great. The owner Mrs. Darilyn let me try the green beans and if I tried those first I would have gotten those instead of the cabbage. The cabbage was good, but the green beans were bomb! I also tried spinach with chicken. I ended up with an extra side of that as well! The energy in the room made me feel like family! First timers get a hug from the lady herself! I also got a cup of her specialty drink. It is sweet, but that's just how I like it! After reading a few reviews I will say she does have tables and chairs if you want to eat there and she does make her food daily so the menu is based on her spirit that day. If you want the works she says come on Sunday! Closed on Mondays. She also had meatloaf, baked chicken, and a few more items, but I came for the oxtails. Authentic soul food with flavor! She also caters!!!! Go see Mrs. Darilyn.

I went over there back in December at 8:00pm it was good the food was Great !! I even told the owner Nephew the Pastor I wanted a cake for my baby shower. He told me they was open from 12pm to 6pm for lunch and 6pm to 2am for dinner. I told him I will be back dinner and lunch.

This is what you think of when you think of family owned ran small business. Everyone was welcoming and greeted me. Even got a hug from Derilyn Johnson. Very sweet lady. Food was good and the atmosphere was great.

I ate here on Friday December 20th the meatloaf was good but the broccoli was seriously over cooked but what I am mad at they charged me $2.00 in tips without me knowing. I ask the cashier why did it jump from $18.00 to 21.00 the cashier said the computer was acting up no he was adding his tip. I will never eat here again.
Omg went in today as a first time visit for a vegetable plate and the customer service was splendid from the front to the kitchen. The young lady greeted me with a smile at the door. Then the lady who appeared to be the owner came from the kitchen and greeted us with a smile and she walked out to the dining area and gave myself and 2 other guest the biggest HUG. The food was delicious and that tea is the bomb. Many places no longer exhibit great customer service but today was a great experience! I will be going back. Thanks for a warm welcome!🤗
