I used to go here often, drinks from what I can remember were good I usually got their passion fruit and green milk tea. I would advise to go in the day the drinks taste better and better service overall. it's safer too in the day, I tried to go around 7:30 to get boba (it was dark already)and a couple of suspicious homeless people were hiding behind the building pillar waiting for customers to come out.
Terrific boba spot in Houston. Their sister location, in River Oaks, is phenomenal too.
Very good quality tea :) I thought they would have more sitting area but it looks like more of an in and out type of spot:) still great tho! Got the coconut milk tea
Get the milk tea deluxe!
First off I would say I leave honest reviews. With that said you know its not going to be good. Came an hour before closing. There was just a male employee working, its the plus size hispanic male. As soon as I walked in the employee was in a bad mood like dang man im just trying to get some tea. Anyways he messed up on the drink and he noticed and I told him its okay I can leave I can see your in a bad mood give me a refund. The emoloyee changed his attitude and said im sorry I want to make your drink I promise. Fine he made my drink and my wifes and once we got to the car we automatically smelled the lid and smelled like mustiness!!!! I would hope he didnt do anything to our drinks but we threw then away!! 😭😭😭😭 Never coming back to this location ever!!!!
PLEASE BE AWARE!!!!
Came here because of the name and I was hella craving bubble tea….and guess what? It was hella good!!!
This place is small but it cranks out really good drinks and fresh boba!
Always a good time there! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Went Saturday Night, I’ve also been to the galleria location. The drinks were really good and the area was clean but it’s not a place to buy drinks and sit so you must grab and go but nonetheless it was nice. Boy and girl working were really easy to talk to and gave us a good recommendation. Would come again since it’s closer to my house👍
Best BOBA in houston, store was clean, the manager was spectacular, 10/10 would come again

I visited Hella Bubble around 9:30 PM well before their 11 PM closing time. From the moment I walked in, the experience was disappointing. The worker didn’t greet me or acknowledge my presence at all, which made the environment feel cold and unwelcoming. It honestly seemed like he didn’t want me there and just hated being at work.
Customer service matters a lot to me, and this was one of the worst I’ve experienced at any boba shop. I asked the employee for his name, and he said it was Juan. Unless this place makes changes to their staff, I don’t see myself coming back. Normally, even when I don’t enjoy a spot, I’ll give it a second chance—but not this time.
The drink I ordered wasn’t great either. It had a strange smell and just didn’t taste right. I’ve been to countless boba places and never had anything quite like this. My friend had recommended Hella Bubble, saying she’d been there a few times and the drinks were decent, but overpriced—especially compared to Feng Cha on 18th Street. After this visit, I completely agree with her. Feng Cha is not only better in quality, but also more affordable.
To be honest, unless the prices are lowered and the customer service drastically improves, I won’t be returning to Hella Bubble. First impressions matter and this one was a major letdown.
Not good & overpriced. There are much better options such as Feng Cha nearby. Plus it’s a to-go situation. Nowhere to sit.
First- guess what drink I got based off of how it looks. I bet you’re wrong. This is supposedly a matcha latte. When we first received the drink it was milk color and tasted like it too. I politely asked if we could get another scoop of matcha and the lady was very nice and said yes but this photo is after another whole scoop and it looks and taste the same. I think the matcha might have gone bad and they are still serving it? The boba was very yummy though but it doesn’t matter cause we aren’t drinking the bad tasting drink. Disappointed we couldn’t get another drink or refund :(
The dude helping me out was real knowledgeable of all the flavors and cooked(made the Matcha Red bean latte) right up in seconds
