Fantastic tasting milk teas, better than The TeaHouse, I find. However, I'm not a big fan of the prices. These are Starbucks prices, but without a drive thru, and the atmosphere. The place is extremely small. You don't even have elbow space, I gather. The parking arrangements are very tricky as well, you're stuck with a one way, I'm afraid.
I’m beyond disappointed with this place. I’ve visited countless boba and food spots, but I’ve never experienced anything like this. I’m a UGC creator and was planning to create a free video for them because we were in the area. My daughter wanted boba, so I looked up a nearby spot, and this one came up.
From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome. Even though there were three staff members, I stood there waiting for 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. I’ve been to so many teahouses—Ding Tea is one of my favorites—and I’ve always been treated with kindness and respect.
Then, my 3-year-old daughter accidentally dropped her drink. I immediately felt terrible and apologized. I understand that accidents are frustrating, but the staff’s attitude was shocking. Instead of showing a little compassion, they were visibly annoyed and made us feel like we didn’t belong there. Kids will be kids, and I wasn’t expecting special treatment, but to be treated so rudely is unacceptable.
Customer service? 0/10.
The drinks? 3/10—and that’s being generous.
Their attitude? 0/10.
It was obvious they didn’t want to make the replacement drink. When I went up to ask politely if I could get a new one, they just glared at me and, with so much frustration, said, “We’ll do it once we clean this up…” I apologized again, trying to be understanding.
When they finally handed me the drink, the vibe was just cold—filled with attitude. The girls behind the counter looked like they couldn’t wait to be anywhere else.
I’ve never felt so unwanted at any boba or food spot. This experience was so upsetting, and I will never be coming back here again.
New staff changed my opinion about this location in a good way!! The old staff was rude but now the new lady is so sweet and laid back ^_^ love it here!! Drinks are on point

Love this place. Used to take my daughter here when it was Tea by the Sea. Great boba. Taro milk tea is my personal favorite!
Was in the area and drove by it. It’s literally a to go boba shop. We ordered strawberry slushy and strawberry black tea, both with lychee jelly. Taste for the slushy was off compared to china town Bellaire. Way too much black tea taste on the other. Heavy on the jelly, not complaining. It’s OK boba for that area. Service was great with a smile.

I recently visited Hella Bubble in Houston, Texas, located in a strip mall with a private parking lot. This place is more of a boba shop stand where you step inside to order and then leave, as there's no indoor seating and just one outdoor table. It's essentially a to-go boba shop.
+Kiwi Fruit Tea w/ half sugar, light ice, and tapioca for $8.50 - This still was too sweet for me. The drink itself was very large, but I wished it had a stronger tea taste. The tapioca was fine. - 3/5
Overall, there are better boba shops in the Heights, such as Feng Cha nearby. While Hella Bubble has its merits, I most likely wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend it over other options.

I bought a 5.5 boba, and they stole my change for the 14.50 difference, I never gave any tip, when I complained they told me that they are sorry because they can't do anything now.I am dissatisfied with the honesty, but what can be expected from the employees if the OWNER is EQUAL BETTER SAID WORSE.

I had a fantastic experience in here today. The woman behind the counter really seemed to know all the drinks really well and had some great input in how cutting the sugar would effect the flavor of the drink. Thanks to the advice the drinks we ended up were great! Will definitely be back!
