Went for Poetry Lounge Sunday this past weekend and loved it! It was a vibe, I really liked that the crowd was a mix between age ranges. The drinks are good, I however didn't try any food this time around. Seating for general admission was okay as well. I definitely plan on coming back with more friends and a date night!
I went here for poetry Night on a sunday and had a good time. The drinks are really reasonable and the crowd was nice . My only complaint would be the hookah. I was there for about 4 hours and I never got a refill on my coals. I advise the guy doing the hookah multiple times but I can tell he was overwhelmed as he was the only person doing hookah. I visited Henke & Pillot for Poetry Sundays. The talented poets were amazing, and the food was very delicious. I ordered the 2 fish and 6 shrimp that came with hush puppies, and fries. It was full of flavor and good serving size. I ended up taking half my food home.
