Went here for dinner tonight.....I really can't say enough about how good the rolls were.....wow I wish I didnt get there so late so I could have ordered more before they closed. You've got to try the dynamite, dragon and mi Armour rolls..... just wow, so dang good!!!

Favorite sushi place in Houston! You have to try their tuna mango and kokoro rolls! And their spicy pork bowl! Also, they do a very special happy birthday song blasted over their speakers that gave us a fun memory!

I’ve been coming to Hikari Sushi on Hwy 6 for years—always fresh, consistent, and well-priced. The lunch specials are a great deal (see pic!). I usually get the Shaggy Dog Roll ($13)—crispy shrimp tempura with spicy mayo and eel sauce. Sushi Combo A is another go-to: 6 pieces of nigiri and a California roll for $18. I also like to add the agedashi tofu for just $5.50. Their poke bowls are also excellent—fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned ($12-$16).
Tips: • Come during lunch—prices are hard to beat • Staff is always friendly and welcoming • If you order to-go, they often include free miso soup!
Definitely one of my favorite local sushi spots.

My daughter had a dance out in this area so I just popped into this place randomly and it was a great pleasure. Seems really family friendly, although it is quite small. the service was good and the food was excellent. I really enjoyed my time there.
