We stopped by Hins Garden in Kingwood and just grabbed two entrées the Kung Pao Chicken and the Orange Chicken, both with white rice. The orange chicken was actually really good! You could taste a bit of oyster sauce in it, which added a nice savory kick. The Kung Pao Chicken though… eh, not our fave. The chicken was kinda hard and dry on the inside, even though it was drowned in sauce (like a lot of sauce). I feel like they’re trying to cater to American taste buds with...
Absolutely my favorite place for Chinese in Kingwood. We stopped in because we heard that the dining room had reopened. It was not; however, the owners graciously seated us since it was after their lunch rush. They were very engaging. The food was amazing as always. I highly recommend Hin's for takeout or delivery. We had the egg drop soup, wonton soup, chicken with broccoli, and the general's chicken and each had an egg roll with soft drink for under $24.
