I've been here 4 times, the first 3 times were dine in, and the food has been top notch. This time, I got it thru the drive thru, and from my experience, quality goes down when you do, but not this place. It is just as good. I personally recommend Siracha Burger with Cajin Fries. This is a dope place!

1 of the few places where you can get a Blue cheese burger. So good. And 1 of the few places that serves horchata. Very good. The Tabasco sauce they have there isn't very spicy though.

Got the Texas Hipo Burger meat patty pretty thick and jucy can use some more seasoning. Fries are fresh out the fryer and w Cajun seasoning good tasting. Price was worth the grub.

I wish I could leave a review but this is now the 3rd time I’ve been to a Hippo with my presence not acknowledged. Each time there have been no other customers present but multiple employees available, however, not a hello or moment or a look in my direction is offered. On a previous occasion I watched as two employees stood behind the counter and ignore me but greeted a woman with such enthusiasm it was as if she was known personally. The look on the woman’s face showed her confusion. Each and every time I was the only Black person there, customer or employee.
I’ll be filing a formal complaint on the complaint and putting other Black people on notice. No one should feel this discrimination by a fast food chain in 2024.
Just new to the area, give a little more time to settle.

Went to their new location on 90 and BW8. Menu was the same and place was very clean and welcoming.
Food came out fast, exactly as ordered, piled high with topping and their big patty. I'm happy to see the burger has remained the same size since the beginning.
There was an expanded drink selection that was nice as well.

Honestly one of the top burger places in town. I wish Five guys had burgers close to this caliber.
