I ordered Mì Quảng, and it’s honestly the worst I’ve ever had. It was so plain and tasted like nothing but sugar — no salt, no balance at all. I had only two bites and couldn’t eat anymore; I left the whole bowl untouched. If you are a chef, you should know how to cook and properly season your food before serving it to customers. On top of that, no one ever came over to ask if our food was okay. That is not how you run a service business.

I had seafood mì, and the soup was loaded with MSG. It contained only 3 to 4 shrimp, and overall, it was nothing special. As someone who doesn't enjoy cooking, I believe I could do a better job than this. The price for a medium bowl was $15, and I didn't get the impression that the chef was professional. I would describe their skills as mediocre. I don't recommend this restaurant.

Come and eat noodles, knock it because you've never seen it before,
Truthful words cannot please the heart? But it's too bad for $13 for a bowl of Chinese noodles, sorry

The owner and staff are very rude ?
Pha lau is what you want. It's the vietnamese street food that you wish you know how to cook.

The food is good, but the service is very bad
Dined here a few times and
as a Houstonian local who eats out quite often I have to say even though their restaurant name is “ Hu Tieu” but the star of the show is Canh Bún Ốc. I liked their canh bun with snails a lot.The food portions and prices are reasonable. I love their canh bun broth. It’s really light and sweet in a good way. Hu tieu was still lacking of flavors but overall it wasn’t too bad.

Best hủ tiếu in town. Good foods all around. My family dine here at least once per week for the last 4 years.
The menu has everything for family member to choose - from vegetarian foods to authentic Sai Gon street foods.
The owner himself is a down to earth, always there to share the fishing hobby stories/experience with my mom, while his wife is such a charming beautiful woman.
You could expect the best taste for anything on the menu, and a very nice atmosphere here.

Definitely one of the best Hu tieu go restaurants in town if not the best, a go-to place for any locals and out-of-towners alike. Amazing flavors. Taste is authentic as far as Hu tieu go goes. Broth is well-seasoned. Pha lau is pretty remarkable as well.
Service is up to standards. Price is reasonable. Great experience overall. Highly recommended and definitely coming back for more!
