Great affordable sushi spot with self service items such as miso soup. The sushi is really good quality and the staff are nice overall. Big portions as well! You order with a piece of paper and pay first.
This is the BEST atmosphere for a restaurant I've ever been to, no question. Eating out in public tends to stress me out due to the large amount of noise and decor and just stimuli in general, but this place is relaxing, lowkey, has NO blaring music and polite staff. The food was great, too! I could just sit here and take a minute to decompress from work, if only I lived closer!
Hokkaido is the best sushi around hands down. The price of their sushi is also a bonus. You'll catch me and my fiancé eating here twice or three times a week when we don't feel like cooking.
