I just had the BEST Gyro in the city of Houston from this place!!! And I’m not even remotely exaggerating. I look forward to the next visit. Reminds me of a NY deli I use to frequent.
Came here four days in a row so far and I've had three sandwiches and the chicken shawarma salad. Soon enough the owners will know me by my first name with how regularly I intend on coming back.

This was our first time eating at Hollywood Deli. I live in the neighborhood and Google searched healthy foods and their restaurant popped up. I scrolled through the pictures, saw the turkey avocado sandwich and wanted to go try it. The owners were very nice and accommodating! The food was great! It did not disappoint. My kids are usually picky eaters especially when it comes to something that looks a little different in which their Pizza is made a little different from what the kids are used to because of the style of the restaurant. They immediately bit into it and loved it. The other adult with me ordered a New York pastrami and loved that as well. They can also toast your sandwiches and subs. The restrooms were clean. I have no complaints. They place was very warm and inviting. When we were getting close to finishing of our meal they brought over complimentary cookies for everyone of us. I think that was a nice touch. I would love to go back and try some other foods there soon!
