Near work, i'm here almost once a week. Long enough for one of the young lady's to have learned my usual order. The croissant sandwiches and the donuts with sliced almonds are my favorites.
I've been twice, and both times I was given old kolaches from the day before. The bread is really hard and the sausage inside is almost black and shriveled dry. The fresh kolaches are in the front of the tray on display, but I keep getting day old kolaches from the back. The donuts are very good and fresh, and that's the only reason I gave it 3 stars.
My neighbor brought over an extra dozen donuts over from Home Cut Donuts. I thanked her, put the on my kitchen table but was reluctant 2 try them because they usually don't compare 2 the Houston donut shop errrr institution that has been here since 1936, but they have not been tasting like they used 2, lately.
