The food was good-ish. The environment is good for a big party, but I wouldn’t say its good for a small group of people. I went there for my 20th birthday and it was absolute mess. We had to scream just get service, just to order some food. Idk what it is but they seem to have guest prioritization. Also the table cooking stove had leaks, it was all over the place. And “All you can eat”? They have limits on the most good stuff.
Very slow customer service
Always a fun large group birthday dinner! Meats from the AYCE menu are still high quality and delicious!

I actually drove all the way down here so that I could get my bowl of Yin Yang soup from Kyuramen, but on a whim decided to give this place a shot. I had the AYCE level 1. My best friend is a vegetarian and they were able to accommodate her with a bowl of soup that she greatly enjoyed even though she said it was too spicy (that's on her, not them, trust me she just cannot handle any spices at all!).
The sides were slow to come out which I found surprising since they were the least expensive thing I was being served. The pork steak was inedible due to the amount of Crystal and muscle in the cut. The fish paste, edamame, brisket, pork belly, and other items that I had were quite tasty.
I liked it, but it does not merit a second 2-hour drive for me.

Just okay, fell off hard since it initially opened. Quality and freshness of some menu items are questionable. Portion sizes don't really resemble how they're presented in the menu and in the store. And most disappointing was the limit on the better menu items such as the beef ribs and boneless beef rib (1 small serving per person), which weren't really clear in the small text when you initially order. Not really an all you can eat when you limit the best parts of the menu, while everything else looks pretty pale and not fresh.

Overall is zero star. Food is overpriced, customer service is horrible and stressful situation to be called as a restaurant. Why that old lady with short hair is gossiping about customers while they are still there and yelling to other young servers in front of customers’ tables. Is she the boss? Anyways, i will never come back to here again.

I’m writing this to bring light to an issue that should make the establishment have proper guideline for the future. Saturday afternoon (11/22/2025) I was dining with a friend at Honey Pig Bellaire and like most places, guests at their respective tables were celebrating a birthday. Now Honey Pig has their own way of celebrating the person by turning off the lights, playing a lively happy birthday song and the wait staff cheering at the table. What was meant to be a celebration quickly turned awry. One moment the table was celebrating the next a child’s body was on the floor and everyone around was frantic. Now I should say that the staff although they were there, did not help. In fact it took another guest from a different table to start performing CPR on the child. While this was happening, my friend and I believed the staff had 911 on the phone and to our surprise no one was calling until we asked if they could call and so did we on our end. The child’s family was beyond themselves and rightfully so, the little girl had to have been 10 yrs old at most. While on the phone with dispatch, the staff instead of finding a way to help opted to stand and stare as that child was dying in front of them. I went over to assess the situation, and noticed food was in her mouth, she was in fact choking. Immediately had the person stop CPR and had her relative help raise the child up and I was able to guide him to start the Heimlich maneuver on her and luckily another gentleman was able to come over and start patting her hard on the back to help get whatever it was that was lodged in there. Her body was limp, she was wheezing for air, barely able to make a sound. At one point she started seizing. I turned to look at the staff and notice that some of them had gone over to other tables to help cut the meat all while a child laid on the floor actively dying. When you have an establishment there has to be a proper protocol in place when emergencies like these happen. You cannot just stand there and watch as someone chokes to death. That child was receiving CPR when she should’ve been receiving the heimlich maneuver. Had the establishment had the proper equipment such as an AED, that is now made so simple that anyone can do it (it even has pictures on the pads) the machine is able to detect if a person has a pulse and lets you know if they need to be shocked or continue CPR. They also sell choking rescue devices on Amazon that can be kept at the establishment if any emergency were to arrive; again, they have pictures to help guide you in the proper way to use it. One thing as staff and managers that you should NOT do is stand there with your arms crossed, staring or tend to other tables as someone is physically needing help. Now I know CPR classes are not mandatory but for a restaurant the least you can do is know what to do when one of your clients is actively choking right before your eyes. This matter should not have been handled lightly, it was serious and required immediate attention. I’m afraid had it not been for the customers that were there that child would not have made it because what the staff did is called negligence.
I came here to celebrate my 25th birthday, and unfortunately it turned into one of the worst and most frustrating dining experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve had issues with the service in the past, but since this is one of the few Korean restaurants that can accommodate a larger group, I decided to give it another chance.
First our server was extremely rude from the beginning and kept rushing us to order, even though some people in my party weren’t ready yet. She repeatedly complained about our party size (we were only 12 people) and mentioned that they “usually don’t do big parties because it gets confusing.” If they did not want to accommodate us, they could have told us upfront so we could have taken our business elsewhere.
What made the situation even more uncomfortable and upsetting was noticing how the server was noticeably friendlier toward other tables specifically those with Asian customers, while being dismissive and making comments in Korean about our table full of Latinos. On top of that, we were automatically charged 18–25% gratuity per check, which would have been understandable had the service matched the added charge.
To make things worse, when I requested my birthday cake, they placed the candles directly on top of the edible photo and completely ruined it. I tried to stay positive while my family and the staff sang to me, but I was honestly very upset and wanted to cry. This is the only Korean restaurant where I’ve consistently had poor service, and after this experience, I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

Was here for family gathering and everything went pretty well. Ordered the $149.99 combo for 6 people, it came with ribs, brisket, ribeye steak, pork shoulder, pork belly, and squid. The waiter helped us to cook. All the meat is fresh, and they offered three different sauces for your needs. They gave you free kimchi as well. A great place that for families and friends. Definitely will go back again

We like a location near where we live and were happy to find out there was one near the location of a business meeting while we were in the Chinatown area of Houston.
We arrived just before the start of their lunch rush so there was not wait to get seated.
The atmosphere was similar to the location near where we live and the staff was just as friendly and attentive as we experience there.
We tried the pork special and it was well worth it. Simply delicious if you enjoy Korean style bbq.
An overall excellent experience well worth the price.
Definitely consider giving this location a try of you are in the area.
