Great location across the street from the Waltz Across Texas country dance competition this weekend at the Sheraton Hotel. Only complaint, this location does not have a dance floor. Ambiance and bar service were excellent though.

Had a great time here at the Saloon. I needed to kill a few hours before my flight back home, and Lisa was more than hospitable and very kind and welcoming. Will be returning on my next flight into Houston just to come back here!

Bartender Morgan is incredible — personable, friendly, funny and down-to-earth. Rare to see these days! All bars should have their own Morgan!

They have a pool table, foose ball, and darts. Servers were friendly and drinks were ice cold.

I had a great stop for a drink while in Houston. The bartender was amazing - friendly, funny, and attentive. The picture of a crazy looking head is actually the rear of the deer...lol

Great customer service. They allow food from nearby restaurants. Maza food is bomb. Bartender was awesome!

My flight on Christmas got delayed and had to stay in neighborhood. I was recommended this sweet spot and it lived up to every bit of hype.

But the real magic is the amazing staff here. Shoutout to Morgan for bringing kindness, quality service, and just good vibes after a long day of traveling. 10/10 recommend

My major concern over every negative thing that a dive bar can have. they wear a well of their system charging multiple pending transactions. they charge $40 anywhere from 10 to 15 times on your bank account. so that means that they put a hold of $400 to $600 on your bank account. the bartenders laugh they think it's cute. they lie to you about getting a hold of the owner when in reality I heard the bartender call a number that was disconnected.. they're typically scamming their customers because apparently if you don't make a big deal about it they keep it they prey on people traveling in and out of Houston. this is the worst place to go if you want to lose your money get treated disrespectfully and then act as if you're the problem. I have been trying for a week now to get my money back and they will not respond they are horrible people and there's a special place in hell for them.

Found this bar on Google because I needed somewhere to sit until it was time for my flight and will never go there again!! Walked in wasn't greeted we sat down no one said anything to us!!! So we walked out!! Definitely didn't feel welcomed! If I could zero stars I would!!!
