First time visitors. Love the decor. Seated right away. Server was professional and friendly. Food was very good. Came out in a reasonable amount of time. We enjoyed it.

We had such a wonderful experience here! So much so that I actually told the manager how great it was. The food was fantastic and our server, Bailey, was kind and attentive. We ordered the fresh oysters, the lobster roll, and the best roll and enjoyed it all. We are a bit of oyster snobs and these were so fresh; from the east coast and tasted like they came straight from the ocean to our plate! Highly recommend this place!

HORRIBLE !!! Even though we had reservations, we went in Early to see if we could get a table and the hosts communication was lack luster . We had an under age child with us so we could not wait at the bar . Over the hour we stood there in the front frustrated as numerous guests were ushered in before us. We saw different groups come and go and even tables that were open. Really disappointed that no one could accommodate us. Seated at 730 and mow just want to leave !

I've dined here several times and tonight confirmed for me that I won't be back. Every time I have dined here the cook times for food have been horrendous. There was a woman today who sat after me, as well as another party that was seated after me and before her, and somehow that woman got her food before any of us did. Idk what's going on with BOH or FOH for the coordination to be so far, but good lord I've never had to wait so long. Service is pretty lack luster, no sense of urgency, no sense of awareness, and engaged more in conversation with coworkers than in ensuring guests are taken care of. The food in itself is highly overrated for the price point. I've had a better burger and better crispy rice spicy tuna at Melrose, and that's a dedicated cocktail lounge- so that says something. Overall, I'd much rather spend my money at other establishments in Houston where I'm getting the value of what I'm spending and the service actually feels like an experience that matches that.

The place is amazing. Great vibe, food, and service. The only negative is the hostess said we had one hour and half to eat before they would need our table for the next party. This is fine and understandable, but it just threw off the energy and seemed unnecessary to say. Heard her say this to other parties checking in before us too. Overall great spot, will be back!

Flo at Hudson House is hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve come across. Super attentive, fast, and actually pays attention to what you like instead of just pouring whatever. Drinks were on point every time and the vibe stayed fun and relaxed. If you sit at the bar, you’re in good hands with Flo.

Your staff seems to get very annoyed when my husband and I come in and have drinks and appetizers. The other day we had drinks and appetizers and the waitress asked us if we wanted entrées. We said no thank you. Her answer was REALLY This is not the first time one of your staff has acted like we are doing something wrong by not ordering a three course meal. It would be nice to just go out on a date night and have a nice time
