The Sunday buffet here is amazing! They even have hot chocolate. The server was very helpful and let me know what foods to avoid as I don’t eat pork and have allergies. The dessert selection is unmatched! Cannot wait to return.

Hands down the best the Mexican restaurant. Presentation was on point. Service was great and I really like steak it was so juicy. It was bit loud in the restaurant because it was busy. Next time I’ll check out the brunch menu.

I came to Houston for a quick overnight visit and googled best restaurants near me and found Hugos. I was blown away. The food was incredible, the tequila high quality and diverse and the service smart and professional. I had the ceviche which was bright, fresh, and tasty. Nextvi had the Lechon, the suckling pig, which was tender, juicy and just a bit spicy. Next I had the duck, which quite literally melted in my mouth. The mole cornbread, greens and sweet potato puree were the perfect accompaniment to a crispy dilute with a ln amazing mole sauce. Add all this to the four great tequilas and I don't think I could have had a better meal. A+++ recommended.

Went to brunch for my birthday. My kid put the celebration on the reservation and we were greeted with a birthday card when we got there, which was a nice touch. There were a lot of people celebrating birthdays. At least 5 people got a special birthday dessert around us, but not me. At some point we just got the check and we left. I love the food and the service is usually impeccable, but today I felt very much let down.

I recently had lunch at Hugo's on a Friday. They are open for lunch on Thursday and Friday during the week, Saturday during the weekend and of course their superb brunch on Sunday. The service and food were excellent. Not too crowded. Had the grilled octopus as an appetizer. Had never tried octopus before. I was very pleased. Then I had brisket enchiladas. Literally melted in my mouth. The mocktails were delicious as well
