Before i ate here, I wasn't a big fan of white rice. This place changed my mind. Love the food, & portions are very fair. It's a very oriented family place. The service it's also excellent, ever since my first visit, I became a regular once a week.

I love the Kung Pao chicken here. Best in town. You can get a great dinner for around $15.
I love the food on this place but since they raise up their prices which most other restaurants did. Ordering a take out, they need to at least make sure that the food doesn’t burn the styrofoam box. They should at least put an aluminum foil underneath especially when you order pork ribs.
This place is always good. They have nice portions and I've never had an issue with there food or service. I have been going to them for at least 20yrs from there old location to the new location.

Been searching for a place like this ever since Chinese Cafe (Bellaire Blvd., Hwy 6, Richmond Ave., etc.) closed down. Unpretentious, attractively priced (especially given their portion sizes), and consistently delicious. They have all the old favorites I remember from that mini franchise - especially the mushroom chicken and the best shrimp fried rice on the face of the planet. New location is arguably more comfortable/modern, but a little trickier to get into because of the horrible [almost hidden] entrance off the feeder road. Still, I would run across the beltway if I had to if that's what it took to get their beef and bamboo shoots. A true Houston treasure that must be protected -and patronized- at all costs.

The food is delicious, and affordable.I recommend their Kung Pao Chicken & Shrimp, as well as their vegetable soup They have a lunch option, a serving for one person, generally at lunch hours on weekdays.NOTE: They will be moving to a different location at the end of August.
