Food is always amazing! I have ordered the lunch special for years. Decided to get some for dinner today and man for more money the portion is pretty small for the price. $17 beef and broccoli that is not big enough to split. $15 sweet and sour chicken that has more cabbage in the space where chicken should be. And no soup!!? For that much a little wonton soup wouldn't be too much to ask! So overall...good food but stick to the lunch special!

This is at the height of a dining experience. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is excellent, and the food is second to none. My favorite item is the Shaggy Dog role which is served with a unique flare. Highly recommended
I’m updating this review because of one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I ordered a salmon bento which came so undercooked and slimy that it smelled. I asked to switch to beef and after a while the owner Carol came and put some beef on the table. Carol, in a rude manner said “taste this!” I tasted it and said it was ok. She then said “this is the last time, you always come and have a problem, we are losing business and money. Mind you I hardly come to this place but I have been here because my family likes it, not me. I told Carol that I think she had me confused because I hardly come here. So I said fine in fact I don’t want this either and I won’t come back. She left all rude. Then the manger Abel thought it was a good idea to come to my table just to berate me and tell me “we won’t serve you anymore”. This was after I already said I wasn’t coming back. So a bit of advice, if your food is undercooked or has any problems, don’t say anything, or the owner and manager will take out there day on you and say you are not welcome.
I must say our server was so sweet and apologized for the owner and the managers treatment of me. She is the best and I hope she finds a place to work where she is appreciated.
Also my original post a year ago was to get a discount. Just saying

Ordered a delivery order for the first time. Been wanting to try this place due to the high reviews. Bad experience. Ordered at 6:11 pm and received delivery at 7:55 pm. The receptionist at the restaurant gave 2 different excuses as to why my order was not delivered yet. The second time I called (40 mins after the first time I called), I asked to speak to a manager. She said ok, please hold and I could hear her talking to someone else. She came back and said there is no manager at all. I don't believe she was telling the truth. Excuses were made instead of taking accountability. My order was room temperature,.spider rolls were soggy. $29.44 plus a tip for the driver. Never again. I gave 2 stars because the driver was so kind and apologetic.

I've come here twice now, and both times were excellent. This last time I did receive the wrong sushi roll, so the very sweet lady server took care of us and adjusted the bill at a discounted price. (I ate the full roll so I did not expect to not be billed for it.) I certainly will continue to come here with my partner for date nights. The drink selection is very broad and the water doesnt taste like bad tap water. They also have alcohol, smoothies, teas, and juice options. The sushi and the bento boxes we got were delicious. As well as our appetizers. The shrimp and vegetable tempura is my favorite.

I wasn’t too sure if I wanted to eat for lunch but stopped here because of the atmosphere and was greeted with a menu at the front. I wasn’t going to eat until I seen they had wonton tacos and these tacos did not disappoint!!! I also had the Orange spicy roll, it wasn’t my forte but a great authentic roll. Over all 4 out 5. The elder female hostess was a bit standoffish and didn’t reply after I said bye.

I paid $50 for some food that i did not enjoy, my egg foo young was flavorless and greasy. My ribs were nothing more than bite sized bones i did like the fried rice and the service was great. I'll be back because i love egg foo young and there's no other place close to that serves it so hopefully it will be better next time

I stopped by Hunan in Bellaire on a Sunday night with my family, and we were actually the only customers there which turned out to be nice and peaceful! The service was quick, and the food came out fresh and hot.
I ordered the shrimp fried rice, and it was really flavorful. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, not rubbery or overdone and the rice had that classic wok flavor I love. Everything was seasoned just right and super satisfying. I also got a strawberry smoothie, and wow… it was so good! I actually forgot to take a picture because I finished it too fast, lol.
Even though it was quiet, the staff was friendly and attentive, checking in to make sure everything was good. The place felt clean and relaxed, perfect for a simple dinner when you just want good food without the crowds.
Overall, I’d definitely come back again. The food was tasty, prices were fair, and it felt like a hidden gem for a chill Sunday night meal 🍤🍓🍚

The food tasted good, just not as good as their pricing. Wish there were side options like rice etc, but instead you have to order a plate that’s a sharable size for $16 … not ideal for 2 people. Unfortunately that’s how most of their options are. Way over priced. For the price of all their items (individually) there’s WAY better places to spend the money. Also their lemonade is a Minute Maid bottle..
