I order Com Tam from Huong Viet and the food was well deserved 5-star rating. The portion was huge and the meat was delicious, tender and juicy. Definitely will order again.

Easily one of the best Com Tam restaurants in the Greater Houston area, mainly thanks to the outstanding grilled pork chop. Well-marinated, packed with tons of flavors, and just so tender. Definitely the biggest highlight of the whole dish. The sausage is pretty tasty too. The other elements are okay. The egg meatloaf is a bit bland, but overall a satisfying experience.
Service is okay. Cozy vibes. Family-friendly. Menu is pretty diverse with lots of traditional Vietnamese dishes and snacks to explore. Highly recommended and definitely coming back just for the Com Tam!

Best broken rice in Houston so far. Their portions are big and the price is low. Definitely a hidden gem in Southwest area. Parking kind of sucks, but that's pretty much the negative thing about the restaurant.

Walking into the restaurant, there was only 1 customer table and 2 waiters, but no one bothered to invite me to the table. Especially the male waiter saw me but deliberately ignored me and still considered there was nothing to do so he could do other things. It seems like the restaurant doesn't need customers, but as a server you need to have a good attitude. Don't think you're the only one opening a shop and then ignore everyone else. Close! ☺️
