Huong Viet Quan o Bellair's business is very bad! Minh black mandarin at noon and told the 4 people to sit down so they could order! After waiting for 10 minutes, they brought 4 new customers into the restaurant, no need to sit and wait! To my surprise, they said sorry and within 1 minute brought another table for me (that table I saw was empty before I entered but didn't let me sit) and told me to sit and wait to reserve! Not yet, then ordered the food and waited for 40 minutes without bringing the food (while the person who came later had the food) I asked and just said wait for the food to come up! Minh waited too long and said frankly why the person who came later had the food and came up to pay but my child didn't have it yet so they said sorry the order was lost so can I order again?????!!! Everyone, please tell me if a customer lets you clean the orchid once or twice, then you need to check and see how this is done. You won't be able to double-check until the customer gets upset and worries about going to check and saying he lost his order!!! If the customer arrives first, they will not be allowed in to bring the new customer in to sit! When the customer asks, just say wait ???!!! I don't want to be here, but I have to respect customers and help them when they need it

We used to dine in but there seems to be a lingering cigar/smoke smell from the places next door. Other than that, it’s very clean inside and service is efficient. Take out and delivery is just as good though. Food is very flavorful and portion sizes are great.

Big portion rice plates that's good for the price. The pork was flavored well with the right amount of sweet and savory. All of the sides were a nice surprise. I wish they gave just a 1/4 bowl more rice, but I like to eat a bit more rice with my meal. We also had the grilled intestine. It was clean and "snappy" from a good bite. It was not chewy at all. I really appreciate that they serve the more adventurous meats like tendon, intestine, etc. Well done!

This place has become my favorite spot for broken rice with grilled pork (Cơm Tấm sườn nướng). Personally, i think they deliver the closet taste to Vietnam authentic broken rice dish. I’ve tried broken rice at different places around Bellaire and even the very famous Com Tam restaurant in California,which everyone tells you a must try in OC, I prefer Huong Viet the most since their grilled pork is very moist and the broken rice is in good consistency,not too dry not too mushy. Their staff is friendly and helpful. They never get my to-go wrong.
