I had a disappointing experience here. The food was excessively oily and lacked flavor. The bourbon chicken was particularly unappetizing, containing what seemed like tissue, making it inedible. Overall, the meal was not worth the price and left me regretting my choice. I won't be returning.

I order shrimp fried rice and 2 items and my bill is $20.54 ??āāļø??āāļø??āāļø.. they have a lot of extra charges for a shrimp and they serve so littleā¦ Never go to this place.. they charging for nothing with a little servings. I can have two plates with this amount in Panda Express.
I didnāt know one can make shrimp taste this badā¦.. and is an extra 2 dollars. Please donāt waste your money here.

They need to cook their food more thoroughly, especially the chicken and beef.
An up charge for cheaper food like shrimp makes no sense.
Also they are called Ichiban but have no Japanese food. O_o Its all Chinese. The Wok a Holoic next door to them has Chinese covered.
Give us some chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, and maybe soft mochi for dessert. Or heck some pocky.

I've always been to the galleria and wanted to try out this restaurant, specifically and while standing in line apparently the manager didn't see or notice me and I asked for a sample of chicken which he refused and told me I need to stand in line. I have already been waiting in line. I told him if he paid attention, he went to be very disrespectful and arrogant ignored my request and kept on with other customers . I asked what his name was. He refused to give me the name. I asked the coworkers what was his name and they told me they didn't know .I own a restaurant .Whenever i pulled out my my phone to record the incident after he refused to provide his name to me he then pulls out his phone to record me which was very unprofessional.The manager is the leader and with his behavior he needs to be in the back cooking only and away from paying customers because if you can't take pride and customer service. I can only imagine the pride that's taking while cooking the food . I have a video but unfortunately i couldnāt attach the video to show the kind or service I've been provided But i do have photos of the employees.

As you are strolling around the galleria, Ichiban randomly offers free samples to mall shoppers, which usually whets your taste buds and makes you hungry for a plate. They offer you a choice of rice/noodles with 2 meat choices in a basic combo which usually rounds out to about $13.99 < per plate. The food is usually tasty and enjoyable, an overall 7/10. However, as a side note, make sure you have a beverage while indulging because the after taste it leaves in your mouth is rather zesty.
Kid-friendliness: They offer a smaller serving than the regular adult plate for kids as well which usually costs about $7.99 - $10.99.
