Chefs where outside smoking and drinking. I seen someone in the kitchen chewing on their nails and touching everything around. Tables were dirty too. Ihop is pretty much known for their pancakes and we got some flat and hard pancakes they were not even fluffy. 0/10

They tell us it closed today. I don’t know why.
Waitresses could have gotten me a refill on my drink but didn’t. Coworker says Gus fish was really greasy. My strawberry crepe lacked any type of sauce…

When you walk into the restaurant and wait to be seated, there is no one standing at the front to greet you. Staff, waiters, managers will walk past you multiple times before even taking your name. When seated we ordered drinks and then the wait was forever before our food was ordered. Food took even longer to come out and we had to immediately send one plate back due to a hair. They brought the plate back out so fast it was highly unlikely to be remade. A homeless man came in and sat at a table that hasn't been bussed in the whole 45 min we were sitting next to it and started to eat off the plates. His smell was so bad that other’s offered him plates to go before the managers even noticed he was there and made him leave. Out waiter only checked on us once and to even pay took even longer. The ihop at gulfgate was packed or else I would have never came. Maybe it was a bad day but this somehow seems like the norm from others reviews.

Visit this restaurant there was two people, and I wonder why when we was leaving the restaurant we see one of the workers sitting inside the sink with their feet inside the sink and then there was a weird smell worse experience ever, but my server was nice

Excellent attention. The person who attended us was very kind. The food was very good. The price was fair, due to the size of the pressures I thought it was a little cheaper.
It didn't really save us since we went at 12 at night.

I rarely leave negative reviews on restaurants, but this IHOP has continued to disappoint again and again to the point where I think it’s time to just drive to a different location. When you walk in, even if it’s not a particularly busy hour, employees will just walk past you; there is no host, it is just servers coming up to the host stand occasionally to write your name down. When you finally do get seated, it takes ages for a server to actually come to your table. Once you finally get your order in, the food takes forever to come out, again, even if you are there when it’s not busy. I understand when it’s Sunday brunch, but I shouldn’t have to wait over half an hour for some pancakes on an empty Thursday morning. Moreover, the quality of the food has been rapidly declining. Food has come out extremely cold and hard, and when we asked our server about it, it seems like all he did was go put it in a microwave which is so unappetizing. The conditions of the restaurant are also, in simple words, gross; plates come out with gunk on them as if they haven’t been washed appropriately and tables are often dirty when you’re sat. What is the most frustrating, is that you can rarely flag someone down for help and you often never see your server unless you get one of the few good servers at this restaurant. When you finally do flag someone down, they seem almost annoyed to help you even if you are asking for something in a patient and understanding manner. I worked as a server for three years so I am able to look past SO many things but the way that this establishment is ran genuinely shocks me and management needs to be more conscious about the way that they manage their restaurant. I understand that restaurant work is often hectic, but in no world is what I have observed here acceptable in ANY place. This isn’t a problem specific to IHOP, these are problems specific to THIS specific location.

If I could give 0 I would. I completely understand a restaurant being busy. I ordered onion rings as my side. Not only did they come out cold, I only received 3. The HOTTEST thing that came to the table was the lettuce on salad that was ordered. Chicken was even cold. I use to love ihop. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had.

Service was horrible. Staff was only attentive to costumers that looked like them and the dinning area wasn't cleaned prior to sitting us down. Need to better train there employees.

Fatally, we arrived at 11am and asked for something to drink and they didn't give us the cutlery, so as we prepared the coffee, we placed the order after 1 hour and it didn't arrive. It turned out that the order sheet was lost. Terrible service.
