I'm so happy I found this place it truly is a hidden gem. Service was great for us the korean lady was attentive and nice to us. We ordered the samgyupseol, japchae (delicious!!), fried mandu, and the seafood tofu stew which was good as well they don't skimp out on the tofu which I was grateful for. I will be coming back to try the rest of their menu for sure.

It’s a takeout order, but they forced a tip and took it, saying they’d pack it well. Is this normal?

Food was honestly good, still NOT going back. Some of the dishes were straight out delicious; the banchan was plentiful and yummy. But the service left a serious sour aftertaste. Don't expect it, and if you don't tip the person 18%, expect her to point out that it's too little.

Indeed a Korean hidden gem.
Very typical atmosphere for an authentic Korean restaurant. Everyone around me speaks Korean. The food was absolutely delicious, incl banchan. Can highly recommend pork potato stew (Nr 64), and anything stir fry. Portions are big too

Cheonggukjang is delicious and the raw fish tastes like eating in Korea.
I like it because it is friendly and has Korean affection.

We had the samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly) and san-nakji (live octopus), and both were fantastic. The samgyeopsal was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, especially when paired with the fresh sides and aged kimchi. The san-nakji was an exciting experience—fresh, chewy, and seasoned just right. The quality and authenticity of the food really stood out.
