Imperial Hunan Chinese Restaurant

Few years back this place was legit. Not the best Chinese food but good and always consistent. Last time we went here they gave me orange chicken that appeared to be boiled chicken in straight up lemon juice. Also got some noodles that had no flavor and some other things. What's usually a good go to spot for good cheap food disappointed our group of 4. Everybody's food was bad so it wasn't even a one off. I'm assuming they sold the business to some people who don't actually care about food. Sad to see. The place next door is better and has good prices too.

NOT IMERIAL HUNAN as of 6/20/25. This restaurant has been here a year. Emlpoyee not too enthused about serving. Food was ok, either no spice or too much spice....I will not be returning.

Food was completely inedible, salty and burned! Employee was rude and told he was busy and didn’t care. Absolutely unacceptable. Never again and I’ll warn everyone I know to avoid this place. Do better.

RUN AWAY, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I should’ve read the reviews first. Food was absolutely inedible. Salty and burned. The egg rolls look like they’d been deep fried in motor oil. When I told whoever was there about it (not sure if the owner or employee) he told me he was busy and he didn’t care. Will NEVER go back there and will actively tell others to avoid this place. Unacceptable.

I never leave reviews but wow their food was HORRIBLE! Their orange chicken had a very slimy consistency, like to the point it grossed me out and I couldn't eat it anymore, the rice was very hard/dry and tasted off, and the egg rolls were small and disgusting. By far the worst I've ever had. My dogs seemed to like it though for what it's worth.

The dumplings was okay I liked it but the lo mien or whatever was disgusting. Too much spices and idk very unpleasant. Bad service was bad because I came in the host was smoking out side. Please find a better place

I don’t normally add reviews but the food use to be so good. Definitely very disappointing ?

They totally messed up my family’s order. I ordered shrimp vegetable with shrimp fried rice and look at what I got. SMH NEVER AGAIN!!! Food was dry and salty. If I could give a zero I definitely would. Tried calling the restaurant to correct order no one ever answered after many attempted calls.

I’m really not one to leave reviews, but I’ve gotta say, unfortunately it seems that they’ve gone through a change in management or ownership or something. The food is very different and they no longer offer delivery. The service has also suffered. It really sucks because this used to be my FAVORITE place to eat out. Have to recommend you find a different place. ?

I ordered me some food last night close to closing time. I ordered house special chow mein noodles and large wonton soup. When I picked it up it wasn't right. It was full of onions? but the guy said I ordered extra onions. So it was just a misunderstanding. He had just made a precious big order so I just took it home like that. When I got home to eat it it was SOOOOO many onions it was hard to try and eat it so it was basically money wasted. Then the won ton soup had maybe 2 wontons in it and the rest was juice. I was furious!! So after I got off work today I called to speak to manager. The manager Marcus happened to be the same person I dealt with last night not knowing he was the manager. So I explain my issue to him about my original order. So he said he would make it over for me for free!! So I went to pick it up after work and he hooked me up all the way around. I was sooo happy he fixed my order correctly. I just wanna give a big props to Marcus for understanding and not having any issues and going above and beyond to get my order remade!! He even gave me a free cherry coke and a juice and told me next time I come he got me!! I will be going back for sure because the food was awesome and he went above and beyond my expectations!!! Kudos to u Marcus!! Thanks for everything!!

I ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan. The sauce was so thick it had a jelly consistency and couldn't make out the chicken or the veggies in the dish! I could not stomach the texture or taste! he Egg Drop Soup tasted sour. I also was not given my Egg Roll. The Special Wonton Soup's wontons were nonexistent in the soup. The wontons disintegrated in the broth!
