When I come in town, I lunch here with different friends. It's a perfect blend of friendliness, great service and delicious food! Great coffee, too!

Vegetarian options: Because of the Mediterranean flair, there's plenty to choose from as well as Gluten Free Pitas.

I usually go to the Rice village store, this was terrible. My second time coming to this store and it was disappointing both times. Will never return to this location.I Thought things would be different .

Consistently really good eats. Salads delish! Fresh produce, delectable flavors, pleasing to the eye. Portions are hearty.Serves bkfst, lunch, dinner. Delivers, take-out & un-fussy dine in. You order @ counter & they'll bring to your table. Frequented by locals. Handicap accessible. Parking often congested, but not impossible. No alcohol served. Smoothies, however, wide selection & very popular.

Parking: Shares strip mall w Whole Foods & few small businesses. Parking can be congested, but do-able. On busy street corner.

Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking spaces, "ramped" sidewalk spaces for wheelchair/walker etc access, close to entry.

Gyros were good with decent amount of meat. Liked could sit outside. Seemed most people did take-out and not dine-in.

Parking: The parking lot is being redone so parking is difficult. Once the parking lot is repaired should be easier to find place to park.

Ordered a Philly cheese steak on salad. The receipt says Philly cheese steak on a bed of lettuce. This is the order in the image. Ordered it before and got what I asked for. Not so much this time. Update: contacted the email. Waiting for your response. ...update 4/22/2023 no response.

We will be back! The food is excellent! The presentation is awesome!Generous helpings!Courteous Service! Not a single complaint!

Parking: Currently, the parking lot was undergoing expansion, so, when the work is complete there should be ample parking for all the businesses including Whole Foods.

Wheelchair accessibility: I am in a wheelchair & found it to be ♿ compliant.

One of my favorite lunch spots. I’m always greeted with a smile and the food is delicious! I have to eat gluten-free and they always take such good care of me. They have a new GF chocolate cake and it’s phenomenal! I highly recommend Island Grill.

This restaurant Bellaire/West U. location needs to be closed down, asap. The air conditioning systems in the ceiling above tables was dripping all over the tables. This is a health violation. This was the same reason i stopped regularly going there, its an ever recurring issue.I live very close to this restaurant and in years past liked going there; however in the last 3 -4~years it has become a dump. It seems like the owner doesn't chose to make repairs and is biding time to run out the lease.

We were staying in Houston for a few days and left the hotel for lunch. We didn’t want anything unhealthy and decided to give the Island Grill in Belaire a try. It’s not a fancy looking place but very quaint and comfortable. The person behind the counter was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our visit was pleasant. The food was really good and I didn’t feel guilty about eating “ junk” , even though we were eating out. A lot of times when I eat at a restaurant, they chop up pieces of lettuce that are part of the stalk and not very tasty. There was none of that and we went back the next day again. Give it a try. You won’t be sorry.

It’s ok. Had the smoked salmon lox omelet…it wasn’t terrible just wasn’t what I expected. Flavors just didn’t seem to work together. The blood orange drink was very good though

Nestled into the corner of the strip center near Stella, Link and Holcomb Boulevard. Island Grill is one of the best restaurants around. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can never go wrong ordering from here. I love the morning smoothies, and fresh juices. The staff is always friendly, and this location is very clean. They have healthy options for gluten-free and vegan guests. Definitely coming back soon!
