We went to this place for my mom’s birthday brunch and the food was amazing! There are so many gluten free options too—it’s so easy to find something to eat here!
BUT—it’s best to not go with a large group. Seating is incredibly limited, both inside and out. Outside patio is beautiful but the tables don’t move. There were multiple large parties there that day that had to sit separately.
The service was a little slow and it is a walk up to order situation. Between that and the patio, I would advise going with the right group and expectations.
The food is worth it!

So I just went to Island grill which has been decent in the past but today it was horrible. I ordered take out beef kabob (Double meat). It was over cooked and two pieces were filled with tough gristle. Not to mention the portion on the meat is quite paltry. They have to do better because this is horrible. I was also given a stale piece of pita bread to top it all off. Not Good !

Floor to ceiling windows offer bright, natural light throughout the establishment during breakfast coupled with their sizable tables make it an excellent place to read or a quick jot in a journal.

The food service was a bit slow. Our table mates ordered a good five to ten minutes after us, but got their food at least ten minutes before us. Everything was delicious and I would definitely still recommend eating here as I'm contributing the delay to how busy they were.

I ordered chicken piccata, but I have no idea how it got that name. Instead of the classic lemon-butter sauce with capers, I was served chicken stuffed with tomatoes, cheese, spinach, and broccoli. To make matters worse, the brown rice was undercooked. This was my first time dining here, and I can only hope the regular cook was absent—otherwise, I don’t understand the hype about this place.

We are visiting from Dallas and stopped at Island Grill for lunch. Great choice!! Everything was so fresh. The steak with kabob plate was amazing. Pitas were excellent. Portions are good size. Staff were super friendly and attentive. We will be back before we leave town to try more!!!
