I love the food from Island Grill, but I was a bit confused when my food cost on my delivery was more than it should have been. I called the store and apparently when you order food to go, they upcharge for the to-go container! There is no warning on the website when you place the order. They offered no apology or remedy (which I did not expect), but they at the very least need to let the consumer know of this additional charge. Just a heads up......
It's not a bad place-semi cute, limited seating, employees who would rather be elsewhere. I had Chicken Marsala $17. First of all, Marsala is a red wine sauce. Theirs was cream gravy. Not horrible, but not Marsala. I think the chicken was previously cooked & heated up. The veggies were not notable, but ok. Greatest place for all kinds of food, drinks, and service. Owner is amazing master chef. With great personal skills. Very clean place. Orders are managed in a very timely manner. I will definitely come again. I recommend this place to all family, business or solo meals and events. Great menu. Awesome place. Two thumbs up.
