It was okay but the taste was not flavored and the cabbage was not sweet at all. Idk why they have white beans in the oxtails but I wasn’t feeling it. Add more flavoring to your food. Music was good .

My first trying Island Sizzle, I ordered the jerk chicken. It was soooo good! Chicken was juicy and flavorful. Will definitely be going back to try other items. And it was a decent price.

Delicious jerk chicken

As a Jamaican, from Jamaica. I can say the food is pretty good. I have read a few bad reviews but the truth is, your comments aren’t valid if you refer to it as ‘peas & rice’ it really isn’t as bad as described. I would definitely say give it a try and the prices and portion sizes are definitely a huge plus.

I stopped by here. I met someone there, and I was surprised that they would pick that particular type of food as we have cultural differences, but I was treated to a oxtail tray. I’m funny because even though I was treated, I asked the prices and I thought that it was a bit much, but I was told that it was a big tray and they did not exaggerate. It was big. It was deep. It was plenty of oxtails, both big and small Rice and peas as well as cabbage, which I wasn’t sure about it first because they had green beans corn carrots, cabbage all flavors well together, and I could really taste the sweetness of the cabbage and maybe the corn was delicious. The food was delicious. I don’t have any complaints because it was a small like drive-through and I did not understand upon arriving or we didn’t understand that there was no area to go in in order. There was a window on the outside and there was a door, but I was told to buy someone on the inside, to go to the drive-through window this was my first time being there so they seem very frustrated but just let me know and I can barely hear them out what they said I got in my car, but my friend waved me around the window Food will go back and maybe some curry goat, and extra plantain??? so happy I found from down yard and I’m a foodie so I do not lie about what I taste. I don’t have time to play or lie. ♥️ as far as the atmosphere, I really don’t know what to say is basically a kitchen with a drive-through window, but they put out good product

Serves some great authentic Jamaican dishes I always order the jerk chicken or ox tails great prices drive thru very convenient and the chef’s are nice and can actually cook I suggest them to everyone thank you island sizzle continue doing your best!

Words aren't enough to describe how good this food was! I ordered the brown stew chicken with rice & peas with coco bread and a beef patty ( they made my beef patty fresh as well). Everything was fresh, flavorful and tasted homemade with lots of love and care. The portions were amazing; definitely enough to have leftovers. They are also very sweet and kind! They made my beef patty fresh when I called in my order because I sounded like I was about to cry when they said they were out lollll. You don't find many businesses that will go out of their way like that anymore so it was much appreciated! If you're looking for a good meal made by kinds hands this is the spot! They most definitely gained a loyal customers and I plan to bring as many people as I can!

Upon first glance, I thought I was in for a treat, but to my surprise, the box was filled with rice with little food on top of it. Shown in the pics.I feel deceived, to say the least.On top of that, roughly ¼-⅓ of my ? was bones.The flavor was good, and the texture was okay.Was it worth $18.67? NEVER.Now, if there was no rice under my goat and cabbage, then most definitely.I will return and try the smaller portion with NO rice and see how that turns out. Hopefully, it's worth the $14.I'm not sure if I can truly recommend it.Thought I had a winner ??‍♂️?

Unfortunately, the only thing I can say good about the this place is the portion size. Otherwise, everything else was terrible, from the rice and peas, “jerk chicken” which was old and dry, to the soggy plantain. They need to make some drastic changes.

Mr G and the full crew is awesome. This is the best authentic Jamaican home style food.Respect and delicious food always.Fried snapper ....what!! So good I ate 3 meals...lol
