My first trying Island Sizzle, I ordered the jerk chicken. It was soooo good! Chicken was juicy and flavorful. Will definitely be going back to try other items. And it was a decent price.
As a Jamaican, from Jamaica. I can say the food is pretty good. I have read a few bad reviews but the truth is, your comments aren’t valid if you refer to it as ‘peas & rice’ it really isn’t as bad as described. I would definitely say give it a try and the prices and portion sizes are definitely a huge plus.
I stopped by here. I met someone there, and I was surprised that they would pick that particular type of food as we have cultural differences, but I was treated to a oxtail tray. I’m funny because even though I was treated, I asked the prices and I thought that it was a bit much, but I was told that it was a big tray and they did not exaggerate. It was big. It was deep. It was plenty of oxtails, both big and small Rice and peas as well as cabbage, which I wasn’t sure about...
