I was excited to see Haitian spaghetti on the menu and looking at the reviews saying how good is was. It was NOT no flavor, seasoning, or spices. Waste of money. Then when you walk in it’s not a restaurant. They have lockers to pick your food up from. The concept is cool, but it’s kinda weird. It’s not a restaurant. No receptionist or anything I was confused

Hands down their Haitian food is the BEST in Houston!!!!
You will not be disappointed! I normally don’t write reviews for restaurants, although island spice deserves this.
Their food tastes the same every time I go. The other restaurants disappointed me after giving them chances. Island spices top tier!

I had been very displeased with the food here in Houston since moving here two years ago. On a whim, I was craving Haitian black rice and decided to give this place a try. This was my first time using a locker pickup/delivery restaurant, but it was pretty easy to navigate. I'm from Miami so when I tell you this was the best meal I've ever had, believe it. Every item was so delicious and well seasoned. The portion was large and satisfying, well worth the price. Whoever cooked my meal is truly gifted and will live a long life by God's grace. I'll definitely be ordering again! 💯

The atmosphere score is low because it is a ghost kitchen with no ambience.

We are from Miami and will give credit where it’s due. This food was really good ( not Miami good, but good).

We had kabrit, Akra, djon djon, pwason fri, and macaroni gratin. The only negative thing about the kabrit is that it was very fatty. We wish they had cut that off, but other than that, it was very flavorful.

We look forward to trying other items on their menu.

Food is on point. All 3 meats well season & flavored. Rice was cooked to perfection. Plantains freshly served hot. My haitian people don't play about their food. 🥰

Chile….this place is probably one the most flavorful places in all of Houston and I’m a big foodie! I just left a review on doordash and I was like lemme come here too🤣 I got the beef taso & it’s always so good!!! Can’t wait to try more dishes from here

It's not a restaurant, the food it cooked right there like a restaurant but it's like a bunch of different restaurants cooking. It's a very interesting setup that we don't have where we live. A great idea giving multiple small restaurant the opportunity to build a business. Food was amazing, just like we went to Haiti and family was cooking for us. When we are in Houston we will definitely go back for more of the amazing food.
