One of the worst meals I had . Definitely not authentic got the oxtails with peas and rice and plantain and the fish with cabbage . Patty was dry Cabbage/carrot taste old heavy vinegar taste the fish definitely wasn’t Jamaican . Rice was good a lot of browning . Oxtails was tender but sweet . For atmospher and drinks it’s good to go but I’ll pass on the food

If you want to give your money away, this is the place who will take it! Don't believe the hype! Our to go spot for Jamaican food is Jamaican Paradise off hwy 290 and muesche rd. Today they were close for the New Year's . They give you your money's worth. This was our first time visiting this place. My husband and I ordered 2 plates of Oxtails with beans and rice and Chicken stew. When I received the plates and seen literally no meat on these small bones of Oxtails I couldn't believe it. I have never been treated with such disrespect. Whoever made the plate and sent this out you need to be ashamed of yourself. How can you take my money and give us a plate of bones. I called them instantly. The young lady who answered the phone, she sat on the phone as if I was speaking to myself. Silence is what she gave me. I demanded to speak with a manager. She said we had to call back in a hour the manger was not there. Ma'am we just spent $90. I want to speak to your manager. She kept telling us that we would have to call back. After she was irritated with me she put the manager on the phone who was standing there the entire time. I ask them for a solution, she explained that the portion that was given was correct. I was too upset to drive back there so I'm speaking to the the public instead. to let you all know that these folks are Takers and will give you scraps. They Will take your hard earned money and watch you walk out with nothing. Here's a picture of the Oxtails was given. Don't believe the hype and reviews it's very misleading. Try Jamaican Paradise off muesche rd and 290, you want be disappointed the flavor is really good too. You will be happy when you walk out getting your money worth. The only reason you got this one star is because it's the only way to post. You deserve ZERO stars. I hate when people take my money and take advantage of us. We work to hard for ours.

Great food! We stopped at this restaurant on our way to our VRBO from the airport based off reviews. Nobody stretched the truth. We both ordered the goat curry and were very impressed. The flavor was amazing! The portions were a good size and they were not stingy with the meat. I wish this was in my hometown so I could eat there more often. I will also mention that the bathroom was clean which is not always the case in bars like this one. Great job!

I’m fairly new to Houston and my Caribbean friends came to visit and I found this place online and we had a BLAST. We came both Friday and Saturday and it was packed with everyone dancing and having a good time. The Jerk wings and Lemon pepper wings were delicious… I highly recommend.
