Island Spice Bar and Grill

Zero Stars.....The service sucks now, they don't seem to care about the quality of the food anymore. This is the 2nd time I have received 3 overcooked, dry, tough oxtails with about a tablespoon of gravy. I used to love this place but refuse to give them my time or money anymore.
My previous review from 1 year ago no longer stands. It sucks now. Waitress, Norah spent more time on phone than working.

It's an authentic Caribbean spot in which you will come across 3 different races of West Indian. Drinks flow well and are strong and food is well enough. Depending on the day you go. Your either going to have a chill atmosphere or a hype bacchanal. It's worth a check out

THE BEST FOOD IN HOUSTON HANDS DOWN! YES! I said what I said. I drive 45 mins at least twice a week for their food. Yes, it's worth it.

Ok I love this place and I been here all of 30 mins, greeted by a beautiful personality with the smile to match. Angie was great and the food was tooooo good. Oxtails were tender and falling off the bone, flavorful. They were about to close and the food was hot and
Fresh. I’m from New York, but live in North Carolina and good Caribbean food is hard to come by. This is bout to be my go to for when I’m in Texas. 10 out of 10. Oh and that rum punch will get you right! TRUST.

The vibe was definitely amazing, service was a 10 out of 10. The bartender slim was very hospitable, fun and friendly. The food tho listen (smacking) I came in town from Boston and I’ve been here for week best food experience yet. The culture and flavor was very authentic
