The prices or to high my catfish sandwich was nasty my fries wasn't cooked well the sandwich was Tilapia fish wasn't no catfish I paid 15 dollars for some tilapia that's wasnt cook good either I wish I could of took my momey else where just horrible

Loved everything. If you dont try this place, you hate America. But no, seriously, the food here is well worth the drive. If and WHEN you go get the fried porkchop burger and some kool-aid. Not only that but the decor shows quite a bit about jazz and how this place has played a role throughout the years.
I’m sorry I didn’t get to take any pictures, but I had the catfish dinner and everything was flavorful. It comes with 2 pieces of catfish, fries, a nice size side salad and a garlic toast on the side. I added shrimp to my order which were also delicious. I would definitely come back and try the hamburger. It looked amazing. If you are in 5th ward, come check this place out. It is black owned and obviously well supported by the community!
