Went to a Bar Mitzvah on a Saturday night recently and can't wait to go back for lunch or dinner. Outdoor dining was super cool! Brisket was sensational!

Was excited to try this high rated place but like I always state “not everybody know customer service”
We wanted to try the two meat special for $28. It’s 8:30 pm and they only had brisket and sausage. Why aren’t all the meats available at this time slot when yall close at 12??? Cooking staff trying to get off early I guess. So we asked for double briskest but were told that we had to pay a up charge of $8 for double brisket. . . When we explained to the butcher that at we don’t want sausage and what other meats do they usually offer, he couldn’t respond accordingly (language barrier ima assuming)
So I asked in Spanish and he asked the manager on duty. The manager told the butcher “go ahead and do the double brisket”
The butcher replies to the manager “yes but you need to still charge them extra”
The manager then looks at me and said “let me make a phone call and see if I can get it approved”
I replied “if you have to do all that, don’t worry about it”
Clearly the butcher made that decision for you .
These establishments charge a hefty ticket for great food but offer horrible proper customer service etiquette.

The food was exquisite, the flavor of the pork ribs and brisket was excellent. Enjoyed my meal and to top it off the service was unmatched. The general manager is awesome. Definitely would come here again

I've been multiple times and this past time had to of been my worst experience. Was there about noon and ordered 3 meat plate, moist brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage and turkey. The sausage is always good but man that brisket was cold and didn't have any flavor i was let down. Damn near everyone i talk to about bbq i recommend this place to them may have to find another go to. The atmosphere was coo. it was a beautiful day out and wanted to sit outside we couldn't cause they had a private event going on later on in the day so that also sucks.

I traveled all the way from Mississippi to try J Bar M BBQ after it was recommended by my brother’s friend. The food smelled amazing, so I was excited and ready to chow down. Unfortunately, that excitement didn’t last long.
The moment I saw my brisket, my smile turned into a frown. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt—told myself maybe my eyes were deceiving me—but one bite confirmed the truth. That brisket was dry. And not just “a little dry”… I’m talking three-business-days-of-chewing dry.
I thought the mac and cheese might save the meal, but nope. Instead of the creamy, cheesy heaven I was expecting, it tasted like a mix of powder and watery disappointment.
Sadly, this was not the experience I was hoping for, and I won’t be coming back.

We mainly come here for the loaded baked potatoes and inexpensive drinks. Adan the bartender is very friendly!
I had my vehicle stolen from there and the security guard was in on it. I saw the footage and when I asked to record there was a meeting that was going on and I will be sent over the footage and I never received it. I believe a lot of cars have been stolen or broken into here and I know it’s not the greatest area but when you have security on lookout a lot can be accomplished. Very sad people can’t even enjoy a nice time out at places like this because of foul actions.

Fun place delicious food. Had the brisket- pulled pork - sausage - Mac n cheese - Brussel sprouts. Pulled pork and brisket were the stars. Brussel sprouts had a hint of sweetness. I would go back. It’s counter service and you seat yourself.
