This was our second visit, and the food and service was just as incredible as the first time. We did the tasting menu and got to try a wide variety of their offerings and added the fried chicken because I had heard how great it was. Everything was delicious. Truly a wonderful spot for a special occasion or elevating a regular evening.

Stellar! The tasting menu was fascinating, and the pairings were perfect. Janne was the best server we've been blessed by in a long time.

Top to bottom lovely experience - we ended up ordering a second of the shrimp dish it was so amazing, and the beet infused cocktail was a great surprise. Excellent experience

Had a lovely dinner with colleagues who experienced Jun for the first time. They loved every bit of the evening - food, service, ambience, etc.

I always love the food at the different Wine and Dine dinners. It's always creative, delicious, and interesting every time!

Visiting Houston on business, having dinner here was, without a doubt, one of the best meals I have enjoyed in a while. Every dish served was better than the one that came before it. Highly recommend!

Amazing food, amazing service- excellent all around. We were with friends from out of town- sometimes it was a tiny bit loud and hard to hear our conversation- but my hearing is poor and it seemed fine for the rest of our party.

Excellent customer service. The waitress was fantastic. The food is actually better than the service. The food was amazing and came in a timely manner.

The food here is phenomenal, no doubt. My wife and I enjoyed our meal here very much. We ordered 5 dishes but really only needed 4, we were pretty stuffed. The cocktails are unique, not your usual fare because everything is sake based but we loved ours. The restaurant gets LOUD though, yikes. Our waitress was describing our meals but neither of us could hear her. Parking was fairly easy (there's spaces in the front and the back). Total bill for 2 including a cocktail each and tip was about $150. When you want to treat your wife I recommend this restaurant for sure.

We ate here right after the restaurant opened and it was fantastic. One of the best meals I've ever had. We went back for another go round and it was nothing. He went close to as good as it was last time we were there. It was OK, nothing close to last time

We had high hopes for Jun but it was a disappointment. Our favorite bites were the oysters which weren't even cooked. The rest just lacked flavor and fell flat especially the curry brisket which was our least favorite dish. We noted a crustacean allergy which the waiter didn't seem to know. Overall, it was nothing exceptional and not worth coming back.

Stephen and Cason were very nice and attentive. My husband and I went for our 2nd year anniversary and they had a card signed by all for us waiting. They also gave us complimentary bubbles to toast. The mussels in a curry flavored soup were spicy but the taste was the BOMB. We also did the Tasting, it came with 8 dishes or so and included dessert. The kitchen seemed backed up, or it may just be they allow a lot of time for people to chat and enjoy their company in between plates, but overall a great experience.

Great meal and service as usual. Wonderful to have this gem of a restaurant in the neighborhood.

Jun is a fine dining restaurant but many of the entrées require eating with your hands, so they provide wet towels with each of those dishes. The ambiance is very romantic and the service was very professional and attentive.

We started strong with the beef tartare which was flavorful and delicious followed by mussels in a rich, savory red curry broth (though a little too salty). We asked for extra bread to soak up the sauce and were brought two very large baguettes for $4 which was way more bread than the small amount of broth left. From there, the meal unfortunately went downhill. The fried chicken arrived bone-in, which made it feel more casual than fine dining (almost like being at Popeyes). The rice cakes turned out to be the Korean tteokbokki style rather than the Chinese kind I had expected, and since I’m not a fan of tteokbokki, I did not enjoy this dish. The ribs also came bone-in, requiring yet another round of finger eating. The carrots were good, but the bed of cheese they sat on was very peculiar.

We ended up skipping dessert, even though it was my birthday, because we didn’t want more disappointment. For us, there was simply too much of eating with our hands and too many misses in execution for a fine dining establishment. While the dishes were creative, it didn’t quite deliver the experience we were hoping for. Sadly, I don’t think we’d return.
