For me Jack In the Box is nostalgic and reminds me of home. In most cases whenever I see one I have to let go of my healthy eating habits and grab me 2 orders of tacos. We all know that these tacos are not what one would normally desire but for me the nostalgic appeal is worth it.

I want to know why when there's and women in the drive thru there is not oreo shake but when there's a guy I can always get 1, makes me waste my lunch break going there I might as well keep going to whataburger They don't have the oreo shake, but at least I can still get a shake no matter who's in the drive through.

Jack in the Box is a reliable fast-food spot, and the fact that they're open 24 hours is an absolute lifesaver. It's a godsend to have a place to grab a bite late at night or early in the morning. The menu has a lot of variety, and the food is consistently what you expect. It's a dependable option whenever a late-night craving hits.
The egg rolls with their buttermilk ranch is addictive.

This Jack In The Box has been a favorite of mine since I moved into the Houston area about 6 years or so ago. I've gone through drive thru, delivery ordered, and even dined in. They have always been the best quality JITB in the city consistently. UberEats will try to route me to a different one closer to me but I always change it to this one because I always get a messed up order from the other ones, whether it's missing items, missed customizations, or poor quality. I'm honestly so shocked to not see negative reviews for this specific location. I've even gotten friends and acquaintances to turn loyal to this location and have been shocked to find out they'll drive all the way across Houston to order from this one 🤭
I just want to thank the staff so much. I know you guys probably don't get paid enough to care about each order, but I feel like the effort/skill is there for sure and you guys should be proud of that at least. I've come in before after the school next door has let out and have experienced probably one of the worst cafe experiences ever by way of how those kids acted and you guys never broke professionalism. And that's just one day of me witnessing it... I'm sure you have faced a lot.
Thank you for the work you do! You guys are the best. And if you are another lurker reading these reviews please try them out over any other JITB in Houston if you're a stickler for quality and presentation. This comes from 6 years observing non-stop consistency.

The lady at the drive thru today 8/3/25 at 2:45 pm that isn’t even signed into her account to take orders she’s under Issac A. Has no professionalism this lady got my order wrong I went back inside to tell her I’m missing 2 tacos, I told her she can check the bag, she’s going to tell me “ I know how many you ordered” clearly she didn’t since I was missing some. Check y’all orders before leaving. That lady needs some training.
