Oxtails Large Rice & Beans a hearty portion great taste, meat was so tender fell of the bone the jerk sauce, combination with the collard greens and rice were excellent the planteens was a nice touch. I would highly recommend you pay, a visit Bob Marley hanging out on the wall with some very chill tunes will be coming back.
OMGG The food is so so good. I got the jerk chicken plate and a beef patty and it was absolutely amazing. It was so good. I came back the next day for another plate. This is my new spot to go to everybody come here.!!!!! Ohhh and I love their accent ..

I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent visit, as I believe customer service plays a huge role in the overall experience—sometimes even more than the food itself.
I placed a pick-up order for rice and peas with cabbage on 7/28/25. When I arrived, another customer was already waiting at the counter. A staff member was visibly preparing to eat lunch and, despite seeing us both waiting, she did not acknowledge us—not even a simple greeting. She went in and out of the kitchen without saying a word or notifying anyone that customers were out front.
After a few minutes with no assistance, I rang the bell. A male employee came out, took the other customer’s name and payment, and returned to the kitchen with no acknowledgment of my presence. I had to ring the bell again and let him know I was also there for a pick-up order. Only then did he retrieve my food.
Another female staff member came out briefly but also said nothing—no greeting, no help. When I checked my order, it didn’t seem like the portions were right. I asked for a bit more cabbage. The employee relayed the request to the cook, who simply ignored him and went to sit down with another worker. The employee did eventually return with what looked like a single spoonful added to my container.
While I understand that restaurants can be short-staffed or busy, basic customer service—acknowledging customers, being polite, and showing attentiveness—should never be overlooked. There were only two of us in the restaurant, and I counted four employees (one on lunch), so the poor service couldn’t be blamed on a rush or understaffing. Sadly, this is not the first time I’ve had an unpleasant experience here, and it seems to continue regardless of the changing faces—except the cook, who has remained the same.
I truly hope that management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue. The food may be good, but without good customer service, people will stop coming—myself included.

The oxtails were truly small. Despite paying $23, l received mostly bone and fat. The actual meat was maybe the amount you'd get from two small wing flats, watery and not so great. The macaroni tasted as if someone spilled half of a container of garlic powder inside. I don't think I'll try ordering oxtails from anywhere else again. I've experienced enough disappointment and sub par food.

Visit here a few months ago in march, was a bit disappointed ☹️ with the food spent well over $40. Chef and waitress brought me and my partner cold plates, and if the plates were cold imagine the first bite 😳 had to ask the waitress to heat the food in the microwave 🤦🏾♀️ the waitress service was good but she and the chef both knew the food was cold… why!, because the plate has to touch hands!… but you can’t really rate good service if the food doesn’t match, right!… after getting the food microwaved the flavors were definitely there we order the oxtails plate and ting to drink 🥤… didn’t think to do a review until today when I drove past the restaurant, the disappointment just reminded me. But don’t let my review second guess your decision to visit, it’s worth a try
I always use the local app by toast to order my food. The first time I ordered the large brown chicken stew it was great the second time I ordered curry chicken and it was not up to part the chicken with spicy but not Curry I don't know maybe it was a cook that day but overall I would give them another chance

Food was EXCELLENT. There is not another Caribbean spot in Houston like it. So many different choices for food items. I have tried the oxtails, jerk chicken and fried rice and it was amazing. My fav spot to go to every weekend for food. A MUST try!

I went inside for the first time today food arrived quicker than i accepted ,i order a L Oxtail Plate i was in love with the Oxtail falling off the bone & Rice was amazing most definitely making my way back ?.
