This restaurant is on average quality of food but seems a little bit more expensive than other similar restaurants. The portion is large though. 3.5/5

Can’t believe I haven’t found this place until now. Very good quality food, good service and the price is not bad!

The food here was really good. I got the walnut shrimp, pea leaves in garlic sauce, and lobster. Came out tasting so delicious. Service was good for an Asian place. I would recommend coming here :)

If you can get past not being able to read the menus you'll be good ! They have pictures ! The portions are huge! The food is fresh and fast. The baby cow ribs and fried whole shrimp are tasty.

I love this place. I always go here when I have a group of people I want to hang out with or catch up while we eat some comfort Chinese food. I came here yesterday with three of my closest friends (all first timers) and they absolutely loved it. I always have leftovers but there were barely any. Everyone licked the plates and we left satisfyingly full. We ordered the salt and pepper tofu 4/5. Baby cow ribs sizzling plate 5/5. Salt and pepper soft shell crab 4/5. Cashew chicken 4/5. My stomach wasn't all in it today so I couldn't really go in detail with flavors, likes and dislikes. I barely ate but my guests enjoyed every minute of it. The rating is based on my taste and I enjoyed it even though I didn't have much. Will definitely come back again!

This wasn't the worst experience but certainly not someplace we would come back to. Food: we ordered spicy fried tofu, salt and pepper pork, sweet and sour pork and fried rice. My husband and son loved the sweet and sour pork. It was fried nicely, but I thought the sauce lacked flavor. The salt and pepper pork, while nice and crispy, is mostly bone and it's very tough. You have to gnaw the little bit of meal each piece does have like a raccoon cleaning off scraps. Fried rice was fine. Not horrible, not great. Tofu was pretty decent. Service: first, our expectations weren't high, we've eaten at authentic places before. However, it was pretty ridiculous. The first server came and took our chopsticks without even asking. Yes, I can work chopsticks. I guess us asking for them back irritated the first server, as she moved onto the table next to us. The place was full when we got there and literally every table in the restaurant got their food before us. As we were eating (with our chili oil, condiments, etc on OUR table), the first lady came back to check on the table next to us. They asked her for chili oil and she promptly turned around and took it OFF OF OUR TABLE. No 'are you using this?' Just reached over my husband's shoulder and grabbed it. It was so absurd that we actually said it's got to be a joke and laughed outloud. I wish we'd have walked the extra 500 feet to East Wall because they are SO much better. This place's prices are not worth it. Do yourself a favor and go down a few doors and have a great meal with good service!

$5.89 for each lunch? Air conditioned, clean area, and decent food? Thumbs up from me. I got the grouper cooked Vietnamese style, eggplant in Sichuan sauce, salt and pepper shrimp, and the general tso chicken. All rated a hard 4.

Great comfort food. Not salty and friendly staff, expect great service.

Just finished lunch with a family that invited us. All the dishes have authentic Cantonese flavorings. This family that moved from Oregon say they've found their go to restaurant for Cantonese food. They're from the "Old Country" As for the recent negative reviews I can't address that based on my one visit here. But I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Our family has been going to Jade Garden for over 10 years. It have always switch ownership every 4-5years but the previous owners have made the effort to keep everything the same (menu, price, portion, and quality). The business was recently again changed owner around October or November of 2018. The new owner made some interior adjustments and fixed some interior issues but failed to keep the food quality the same. Several chefs have left since new management which would give the reason to why food doesn't taste the same anymore. Prices are increasing while portion is downsizing. Dim Sum have not been the same since November because of the staff change again. Lunch portion is significantly smaller even for take out. Owner posted some type of specials on WeChat and when asked about the details of the special, she gets very upset and gives a pretty bad attitude. It's pretty sad to see the change going downhill as we have been longtime customers. Would hope to see things get better in the future

So I've been ordering from JG for going on 4 years now. I called today to order for delivery to my office for me and another. I knew they have a $15 dollar minimum. I ordered 2 things off the lunch menu. $14.98. They wouldn't deliver for the $0.02 cents under the mimimun. No matter how much me, or my office order or ordered from them in the past. FORCING me to order other items. ACCORDING TO THEM, "So we can make sure people order more than just 2 meals for delivery" Money hungry people. SMH. I'm just going to start calling Rainbow Cafe from here on out. Ever since they took over "The Golden Spoon" on Grant. their service has begun to plummet. Food too. ***UPDATE. After eating the food. This is NOT the Jade Garden I remember. Everything was super bland. There was a lot of something grey in my rice that was not egg. The Hot and Sour soup, was mostly just sour. Not the good sour. Ew.
