In a saturated market within Hillcroft area, this one has managed to sustain and impress me over the past year.
They have a wide variety of street food options and the Ahmedabad-style Vadapav which is toasted in butter with a spicy garlic chutney is one of my favorite dishes there - highly recommend! I also appreciate that they use authentic soft Indian pav and not burger buns.
Their service is decent but can be really slow and chaotic during weekends and peak hours.

Pros: great, authentic food. Quality is consistent & taste/flavor is commendable.

Cons: service can be slow. Wait-staff doesn’t seem attentive to the customers; at times feels like they avoid eye contact and can be difficult to ask them questions. This can be understandable during busy times, but we have had slow service during off-times as well.

If I were to order from now on, I would do take-out/pick-up instead of dine-in.

Good food and good services

My family and I went to this restaurant for the first time and the food was mind blowing. To begin with, the food had real Indian taste. The food was very flavorful and had mixtures of different spices. I would definitely recommend the Vada Pav. Moreover, the service was wonderful and the staff was very helpful.

Really they offers delicious vada pav that truly reminds me of the ones from Ahmedabad. It's a must-try for an authentic taste. And Ice gola also good ?

OMG! Horrible experience we had. Food quality was extremely poor, ordered veg sandwiches, those were just single layer two breads with only cucumber and tomato! Seriously that can be done at home too! Such a poor service, this place is overhyped. Vadapav also not that great and on top of this they charged 18% gratitude without even asking bdw we were 4 adults only. Would not recommend at all…

Food here at Jay Bhavani was one of the best experiences we had. Vadapav and dabeli was our favorite. Our host Ankit Bhai was very helpful.

The restaurant has the exact taste as it does back in India in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. They are very flexible and help you the spice levels or change in the portion sizes. The staff is also very friendly and the restaurant is always busy and yet the staff makes sure to serve you well.

Vegetarian options: The restaurant is co-owned by Egg mania whihc has egg dishes as option but Jay Bhawani on its own offers pure veg menu and every item on the menu is delicious.

Dietary restrictions: All vegetarian option availaable.

Parking: Easily available plenty of free parking space in the complex where this restaurant is lcoated.

Kid-friendliness: There are multiple options in the menu which kids can eat and you can ask them to change the spice levels according to your kids. Great place to get your kids to try authentic Gujarati street food taste.
