To be clear this is a review is the Vietnamese menu. I ordered a salmon banh mi-pho. The bread was old and crumbled on the outside. The inside was super mushy like it had been sitting for a while before I got there. I didn’t even bother going back inside and asking for my money back. I threw it away and I won’t be back.

To be clear this is only a review of the additional Mexican menu. I ordered the enchiladas because it was one of the cheaper items and I was hesitant to risk the price of the others on something I hadn't tried before. They were ok but not good enough to justify the 12 dollars. In hindsight I should have ordered from the Asian menu which has always been great.

Walked thru the door and first thing I noticed was the Mexican music and the decorations. Although the "Tex-Mex" themed Banh Mi sandwiches might have been adventuresome, I stuck with traditional grilled pork and added a "drink & egg roll combo" to it. Total bill was under ten bucks and was from "Papabuelos Mexican Grill". Guess there is some kind of fusion going on here in our diverse city? Anyway, the sandwich was quite good, but the egg roll seemed to be the frozen variety that got at a supermarket. Will come back for some of the interesting combo plates on the menu.

This used to be my favorite Vietnamese vermicelli bowl place-but it seems as though they’ve gone through another management change. Service is not the same quick service. Credit cards were processed with another companies system and they decided to add an odd teriyaki sauce to the beef for the noodle bowl. If the same service and food are back I will be the first in line. Until then, I will be taking some time off from this place.

This place is dirty! Me and my sister went a couple days ago and we found roaches on the chicken pho. They didn't even offer a refund, they just stayed there quiet. Do not come here!

Don’t bother ordering through grub hub for pick up, they dont get it half the time. If they would pick up the phone I would haven’t had used grub hub.Crew on 8-24-2020 couldn’t have been slower. To many good restaurants in Houston to have bad service.

Really good food and customer service. You can build your own plate and I get rice and beef with scallions and peanuts its so good! You gotta try this place and they really listen to your order and make it the way you want it!
