1st time, food was good, but service could have been better! Ordered online, that was easy. When I arrived to pick up the order, no one was at the greeters desk, and it was barely anyone dining in! Ordered a Caesar salad, and they gave me a regular salad! Lasagna was great!

This is the first time I'd ever been to a Johnny Carino's and I won't be going back. The food was not good and super expensive. I had a salad that was $18 and it didn't even have a protein included, and the portion was very small. The server was nice enough, but i was not mpressed at all with this restaurant. In addition, the air conditioning didn't work (and it's July in Houston!) and the bathroom was kind of gross.

They seemed shorthanded. It took 10-15 minutes for us to get any food. The restaurant seemed nearly empty. We ordered the unlimited soup, salad, and bread sticks. We only got one round in during our time.

Carino's at NW FRWY has been one of our favorite local restaurants for over 8 years. Daniel (bartender and server) is the main reason we keep coming back. He's always so welcoming and friendly, it's always such a pleasure to see him and enjoy any of their daily specials . We love their Italian cream sodas and great variety of pizza. The wedge salad they make is simply the best we've ever had.

Went to dinner at prime time (6:30 ish) and there was not a host/hostess to be found. After waiting in an almost empty restaurant, we were seated but not waited on for over 10 min. We ended up leaving to avoid more annoyances when trying to get a meal.

James is an amazing bat tender. He made our experience memorable. Thank you James ! The nachos were good as well.

First time going to this restaurant and will never go back!! My 11 year old son and I walked in after my doctor's appointment around 3pm. The guy that was in the front told us he would be with us shortly while he answered the phone. He explained on the phone that their was only one cook ,one server, and one bartender at the time we came in. After he hung up the phone he took us to our seats. Then a few minutes later our server came and we ordered sweet tea for my son and I...then we ordered for an appetizer cheese sticks with ranch dressing. The server said they do not carry ranch dressing when it clearly it was offered on the menu with a burger. Then the server shortly came back and said they were out of sweet tea and cheese sticks. This place clearly does not have it together and with them not able to go above and beyond for their guests I'm sure this company will not be around very much longer.

Our server, Leigha#1/Roro, was AMAZING!!! She was very sociable, friendly, and able to answer any questions we had. The food was not what we expected but that's ok.

Chris was a great server. You can tellHe was new but that didn’t stop him from doing his thang! He was professionalAnd very sweet. The manager was also wonderful and helping us.

This was the first time coming to Carino's and from the git go I was greeted very nicely. My server Tony was very nice, very polite, and got my drink and food out in a timely manner. What was really nice was I got to meet the 2 managers on duty Matt and Rebecca. And they asked me how my dinner was and if I would like a desert. I will say this I've eaten at alot of Italian restaurants and I think this one is one of the better restaurants I've been to. Food is delicious, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the prices are decent. I would recommend to my family and friends to come here.

First off, I did not even know this restaurant was still around. We got a sampler appetizer that looked they threw a few things on the plate and were not worth the money. We had to tell the waiter 3 times our order, and it still came out wrong. The waiter then spilled the bread oil all over my friend. The manager was polite and spoke with us, but we will not be returning.

So we entered and were being seated but couldn't choose where we wanted to sit because the staff "wouldn't wait that area".Although the food was very good, our experience was rudely interrupted by the male waiters speaking loudly to each other at the bar. As if that wasn't bad enough there was a point in their conversation where they were yelling at each other from opposite sides of the restaurant. I would understand hearing the conversation of the table near me and the conversations of the waiters, but not to the extent that they displayed today. The two star rating is more because of the service, but the food was a solid 4 stars at least. We ordered the chicken skilletini and it was scrumptious ?

This place use to be so good. The atmosphere hasn't changed but the service and food is trash. The price has jumped way to much for the chicken to be dry, servers to act like they don't want to help or are annoyed by your questions. Website pictures look nothing like what you get in person. Wait staff was arguing with the hostess about how tables should be set. The people sitting down don't want to hear that. Fix these issues and it won't seem so dead on a Sat night.

first and foremost the staff is excellent, great customer service I must say. Reason for the 2 stars is due to the quality of the food. I ordered a Johnny's special and there was nothing special about it. noddle's and ketchup for real! chicken was very dry and over cooked. Over all the quality of food was horrible. I was amazed on how much I wished we went to Olive Garden, and their food sucks. Pretty over priced for the quality of food.
