I won't say much. Drawing too much attention would probably kill the vibes. Definitely DONT bring a date here on the weeknights for a quiet lowkey night with some of the best drinks in Houston. That would be craaaazy.
We came for Johnnys Gold Brick but got Miracle at Johnnys and it was Christmas Magic. The hostesses were so nice, the bartenders were very attentive and kind!!! Everyone was excited to be there, the employees felt genuine and made efforts for a connection with us. Will be back!!!
The Brick is certified gold when it comes to bars. The staff was friendly and professional. The atmosphere was simultaneously intimate and inviting. It's not a big place but it seemed to have plenty of room. The food was better than your usual bar food. Definitely worth ordering just for the food. The drinks were amazing. It's not a bar for people who just like to be seen. It's a place for real people! I'll definitely be back.
