They make a mean Manhattan as one of their specialty drinks which is why we keep coming for happy hour. The food is always a bit odd, although to be fair I haven't had a full entry in a long time. I felt like the menu was a little better before this opened this location. It is less comfort food and standard dishes and tries to be a more avante gard , but I think it misses the mark.

Chicken and waffles strange combo it has cheese grits smashed between waffle and chicken.
The seafood gumbo & the hamburgers are delicious.? The Caribbean shrimp was delicous.Parking: I've only gone a few times but I was able to park near the restaurant in the parking lot. But it's a small lot shared by other business.

Come early for Brunch on a Sunday, starts to fill up quickly. Food was great, espresso martini was delicious, Jonathan stopped by our table and said hello!!! Will definitely be back!!!

We love JTR at Campbell, one of our most favorite places to go to in Houston. Food and drinks are always on point. On this occasion, it was so loud inside that I could not hear my wife sitting 3 feet in front of me. My filet was too oily, greasy or buttery, possibly from the chimichurri that came with it (Gaucho Filet). I don't recommend it unless you like eating oily, greasy food. Wait staff are fantastic. Bill is on point for the quality of food and experience.

Jonathan's is great! It's been the perfect neighborhood week night date spot for me and my wife. I'm sure it's just as great every other night of the week, but that's when we go. The food is delicious, the servers are friendly and personable, and it's lively without being obnoxious.
